| Subject: | Built like a tank but the tone is dark dark dark |
| Quality:
| It should last through heavy use-professional tours, local gigs, garage band clutter and getting banged around...even a bedroom like mine! |
| Reliability:
| It's very well made.
The inner pc board is very well made with quality components.
The speakers are well made with fat magnets and all solder points are clean and reliable.
Solid casters, heavy duty grill, thick MDF covered in tolex.
-Only short coming is the screws holding on the grill aren't anchored so well since it's MDF. Chopped up toothpicks and wood glue fix this well. |
| Overall:
| It's solid through and through but the voicing is REALLY dark, far too dark for anything other than jazz or acoustic work. Either your head has the tonal versatility to push more treble through it or, you need to modify the circuitry of the cabinet.
Otherwise it's about the best buy in terms of 4x12 cabs. They by far give you the most for your money. |
| Playability and Feel:
| It doesn't have a really organic response or feel, this due to the voicing circuit they use internally. There are a couple inductors inside which filter out much of the highs. Overall it's a horrible design flaw and they need to change it but, whatever.
There are a million pieces of gear out there that are incredibly well designed cept for one part that completely throws the sound but was integrated solely to suit the designer. |
| Tone:
| Very dark, probably to please gothic and neo guitarists along with jazz and blues players that like that dark, sooty tone. I like a dark tone but not permanently and it's just as easy to get it with your EQ.
Whoever voiced this amp was basically a fool and voiced it specifically for themselves. The best piece of gear is a versatile piece. Had this been designed with a nice, open tone with plenty of treble, midrange and bass, it would be universally pleasing to all musicians. |
| Finish:
| Looks wise it's really high quality.
Having MDF is a con but, it weighs a LOT so it is quite solid,
The grill is a good, heavy gauge steel, the plaques are metal as well.
Overall a very nice looking amp but you may opt to pull off the Behringer plaques as they are a bit in your face or may clash with the brand of head you use. |

| Quality:
| As everyone has said ,this thing is a tank, built to last. |
| Features:
| The stereo /mono is really nice ,total difference ,but both sound great. |
| Sound:
| It sounds amazing, i run the Marshall MG HDFX 100 thru it and it screams. |
| Reliability:
| I bought it used, the vinyl was ripped a little, and one of the metal corners has a dent, and it plays like it's brand new,so i'm going to say very reliable. |
| Overall:
| I would and will get another one, thinking of going for the straight cab for a full stack. |
| Value:
| To pass this up for a more expensive cab is just throwing your money
away. |

| Overall:
| its great because its a 4x12 for 200 bucks and it moves just as much air as other cabs and its just as reliable, you could easily power it with a 100w head, so if you're looking for a reliable cab with big sound, this is probably your best bet. |
