Subject:Wimpy!
Overall: In my humble opinion this amp is not worth your time.. If your going to get a bass amp don't get anything under a 30 watt amp.. If your going to play with electric guitars then nothing under 60 watt will do.. A bass amp needs power and guts to push the sound thru the thinner guitars. The bass is part of the rythem section and what good are you if you can't be heard? Leave this alone and go for the 60 watt. With the bass, bigger IS better!

Subject:A great small GUITAR jazz amp!
Overall: I have been looking for a little amp that I could play small jazz guitar gigs with - and this is it! Yes, I realize it is a bass amp. That is exactly why I love it for jazz guitar. The problem with small guitar amps is that they are built with a lot of their power devoted to the overdrive circuit. Playing jazz, I need clean sound, lightweight, projection and nice low end. This little amp meets all of those requirements. I play professionally with a small quartet. An upright bass, sax, drummer that plays with only brushes, and guitar. For this size of a combo, this little amp shines. I only run it around 4 on the vol. level. I noticed that the other review called this little amp whimpy. I suppose if you are playing with a LOUD group, naturally this little 15 watter would not be enough. For small venues, it is perfect! I was a jazz guitar major in college, and have played for more than 30 years. I have played through a LOT of amps in those years, and this little BASS amp is

Subject:Perfect Practice amp
Overall: OVERALL:
This amp is awesome. The unique cabinet design combined with the vintage input provide a tone that is simply amazing for a 15 watt practice amp. The people who say it is too small need to understand that it is not designed for gigs, it is a PRACTICE amp. It is awesome at what it does. I have found that it sounds great with jazz style guitar playing. It could also be used for recording, however, when the level is turned up there is some background noise present.
