Awesome amp. Behringer delivers.
Quality:
This amp is sound. A well put together and designed amp to be sure. It's an awesome amp with a lot of power for a combo and a steal at the asking price. I highly recommend it.
Features:
I love the EQ on this bad boy. It has a ton of variety on tone.
Sound:
Good question. However you set it to sound I suppose.
Playability and Feel:
Well, it's heavy as heck. And the neck? Don't get me started!
Tone:
...well....I haven't quite located the pickups on this amp just yet, but when I find them I'll let you know.
Finish:
Hmmm...if that's paint, it's the weirdest paint I've ever seen. Has a kinda fuzzy texture.
Action:
The action? Well, It's really hard to play...

Solid amp
Quality:
I've heard complaints about Behringer quality, but this beast seems pretty solid and well made. So far so good. Tiltbvack is a definite plus.
Features:
A whole lot of amp for the price. It's surprisingly loud and punchy. Maybe an output for a second cab would be nice. And rather than the onboard ultrabass effect, I'd prefer a chorus or flanger.
Sound:
I first heard this amp being used outside, and was amazed at the volume from such a small amp. That pretty much impressed me enough to buy it.
Playability and Feel:
Oh, it's not light. But I'm thinking that pretty much goes with the full-tone territory.
Tone:
The ultrabass function has some hesitation, and I probably won't be using it much, if at all. The overall bass tone is quite good.
Finish:
N/A. But the carpet was...carpet.
Action:
Simple to operate. No problems.

Not As Scary As Was Promised!
Quality:
This is my first Behringer product. I read reviews and participated in forums where the brand was discussed. Hardly ever a favorable review. I bought this amp as a temporary fix to a shortage of watts. It appears to be working out so far. Still new to it though. I am willing to give it a chance!
Features:
I really like the line out, on board compression, CD in, 7 band EQ, and the tilt back feature. Never had a tilt back before and I like it!
Sound:
I enjoy to tone very much. Although I always play with a multi fx unit going. I have a tone dialed in that is punchy, yet warm and clear.
Playability and Feel:
It definitely feels heavy! Quite a load at 67 pounds.
Tone:
Punchy and warm.
Finish:
Its a good looking amp. Never had the fuzzy carpet before. Always Tolex in the past. I like it. So do the cats!
Action:
Out of the box? Damaged. UPS sucks at what they do. Box of strings that arrived the next day looked like it had been through the wringer as well...I plugged the amp in immediately to try to assess internal/speaker damage. Despite the dents in the grille, the unit worked just fine.

I questioned American Musical Supply rep "Harold" about proof of the extended warranty after I purchased the BXL 3000 and all I got was a run around. At this point, I'm not sure their offer on the ad is good.

ULTRABASS
Quality:
Extremely durable and put together well. Bulky, but no more than expected from a 300-watt bass amp.

I love the ultrabass and the compressor. Perfect combination for a bass amp.

Sounds amazing. None of the built-in effects detracts from the sound as would be expected.

Wouldn't Buy This Amp Again
Quality:
This is a very well put together amp, very sturdy.
Features:
The best feature on this amp is the sound shaping and compressor capability.
Sound:
The sound and tone is good for a combo amp. However, after about 4 months i had to have it repaired because of problems with the equalizer sliders and also a problem with distortion even at low volume levels.Fortunately its still under warranty and Behringer will be picking up the tab for the repair. I wouldn't buy this amp again not even for half the price.
Playability and Feel:
There is no playability, its a amp.
Tone:
Tone can be shaped to suit whatever style you wanna play and you can defintely mic-up for big gigs.
Finish:
The finish is of very good quality.

Quality:
Very well made, tight cabinet, no rattles or squeaks. The controls are on the light side and would break knobs quite easily if you were careless but I never move it so it's not an issue...
Features:
The EQ is great for getting the tone you want. You can find anything from a Jazz to the throaty Ric sound and everything in between...
Sound:
Great sound...
Playability and Feel:
Hard to hold and the action is very heavy...
Tone:
No pickups found yet, it would be a bonus, probably get a few bucks off Craigslist if I find them...
Finish:
It has a fuzzy carpet covering which is nice if you don't move it around, not sure how it would hold up on the road...
Action:
Worked great, it was a replacement for a 90 watt, 12" that quit after only a few hours playing. It's heavy but I only use it in my home studio so it hasn't moved since taking it out of the box.

Do not buy this amp from AMS
Quality:
Appears to be built very sturdy. But, after two months, the amp began losing volume or distorting while playing. I believe this is due to heat as this unit has no fan or even vents for the electronics. I tried to get a replacement from AMS and they invoked their 45 day limit. Please realize before you buy from here that if the product screws up after 45 days you are stuck with it, defective or not. Behringer will not replace it either, but instead, want me to ship it to a service center for repair. At 75 puonds, thats about $100 shipping. No more Behringer or AMS for me!!!!
Features:
It is loud when working and has good tone. Alot of bang for the buck.
Sound:
Has good graphic EQ and good tone control with the various adjustments available.

Excellent buy. Great Amp... I would buy it again.
Quality:
The amp is of great quality. I haul it around to gigs in the back of my car or pickup, and it holds up fine. The knobs might be fragile, so just to be safe, you might want to be careful with them, though i have had no problems with them after about 4 months now.
Features:
The amp has great features, though just the standard tone is great for me. the EQ is nice, and the ultrabass is a cool feature, though i do not even use either one. i just plug in and go, to me that is how it sounds the best.
Sound:
The tone is amazing, especially if you are upgrading from a smaller amp. Of course, if you turn it up super loud it might not carry the extra low tones with gut-punching power, but it is only one fifteen with 300 watts behind it... to me, it is perfectly fine. I never need to turn it up that loud anyway.
Playability and Feel:
Great feel to the sound... i can really feel my bass through it.. makes me happy:)
Tone:
Good tone, lots of low end. If you want a higher tone, you can adjust it with the EQ.
Finish:
Nice cabinet. heavy, but very nice.

Excellent Amp for the Price
Quality:
It is very heavy! I have been using it for practice and gigs for the past several months, and it has held up well. It looks nice, and travels better than I expected. I would never want to trust it to a moving company, but giving a little care in transporting it will serve you well.
Features:
It has an always-on limiter... which I suppose is because the amp is rated at 300 watts and the speaker is rated at 200 watts. The compressor is very good... the EQ works well, and the built-in DI connection is wonderful. It also has effects send and return connections... plus a CD player input that I have never used. The Ultrabass feature is a fun thing to play with for a while, but I doubt that I will ever use it in performance. It adds a lower octave to the notes you play.
Sound:
With the EQ and the tone controls set right, it will put out a great sound in most any room. Also, it can be surprisingly loud for an amp this size. I have played some large rooms where I thought it would have to be run through the PA (which we did for recording purposes anyway) but the amp was able to crank out enough volume on its own, and I have never had it turned up very far.
Playability and Feel:
Well... it feels like a fuzzy amp. :)
Tone:
With the EQ and tone controls, you can get most any tone you wish out of it. I use an Ibanez RD500 bass, which has an amazing array of tones, and the amp passes each one with flying colors.
Finish:
The amp looks great... the knobs feel a bit on the cheap side, but they do what they are there for.
Action:
Other than some back pain, the action was fine. :)

Monster sound in a combo amp!!
Quality:
This amp is obviously a well put-together piece of equipment. The cabinet is solid (I could not find ant loose joints), theknobs are nice and tight, and the oft-overlooked handle is very snug. Make no mistake, this is one of the heaviest combos out there! It's no featherweight, but given the heavy magneted speaker, I expected no less.
Features:
The graphic EQ works wonders, you can get the perfect tone out of any bass. The ultrabass effect is amazing; it fills out the space nicely if you're in a power trio like I am. And this amp is loud!! You can play smaller gigs on it without even going through a P.A.
Sound:
The tone from this amp is superb! Between the ultabass, graphic eq, and gain variations, you can bring up any tone you need.
