Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
This is where I thought it would be lacking, but I was wrong. I am very pleased with the unit I received from American Musical Supply. All the faders light up and slide fine. The unit seems to be built well. It works and performs great!
What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could?
There are a couple of features that I particularly liked. The pink noise generator helps you solve potential problems BEFORE you're gig. It isn't a perfect fix. Once the place is full of people, some acoustics change, but still it helps a lot. The other feature is the feedback detection system. It doesn't stop the feedback from happening, it just tells you what frequency is causing it. I did a full review of it on my website if you are interested in seeing it go to www.Route249.com.
Ease of Use
How easy is this product to use? How easy is the product to use with other products? Did it take long for you to learn to use this product? Was the manual helpful? How playable do you consider this product to be?
I had no problem plugging it in or using it. I read the information that was included and it seems pretty straight forward.
How is the tone?
The unit has a bypass so you can toggle between the input sound and the equalized sound. Sometimes you think you've changed it for the better, when in reality, it sounds worse. Then you can critique it till it sounds better than the input sound. Which is really what we're after, right?
