General Your general opinion of this product. The pedal seems to lag, the effect is behind the motion of the pedal. It also seemed to kick in about 1/3 of the way depressed. Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? It may be good for a first time user. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? kind of cheap compared to a Dunlop but what can you expect for $49.00 Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? The tone wasn't bad. Action How was the action out of the box? Good Finish How did the stain or paint job look? Plastic Reliability How has it stood up over time? I only owned it for 24 HRS then returned it.
This pedal really is well worth the money.

General Your general opinion of this product. As I said above, it truly IS well worth the money at $50 bucks you can't go wrong. It seems to be a copy of the Dunlop Q535...a GOOD copy...really not junk. However it's NOT made of cast metal as somebody said it was. It's plastic...heavy duty plastic, I DOUBT you'll have any trouble with it under any kind of vigorous circumstances. I wouldn't ABUSE it, as with any other electronic piece of equiptment...they're fragile. But I'm SURE you can treat it as you would a Cry Baby and have NO problems...at less than half the price. Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? As I stated above, yes, I believe it IS a dependable piece of equiptment. One you'll have for MANY years with normal use. And don't ask what's normal...just like you wouldn't trash your guitar...you wouldn't want to trash this. I don't care if you DO have lots of money...fifty bucks is nothing to sneeze at in todays world. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? It feels good. It doesn't have a footswitch to turn it on and off...just press the pedal and you're in wah mode. It takes a bit of getting used to ESPECIALLY if you're going for that special sound coupling other pedals along with a static wah. But, hey...for fifty bucks deal with it...it's worth the price. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? It's a WAH WAH...and you KNOW the sound there. Action How was the action out of the box? Action is quick...touch the pedal and you're in Wah mode. It has a spring underneath to push the pedal back to your foot and off. So you can vary the pressure just like any other pedal...it just pushes itself back to you as your pressure decreases...no heel toe action here. That's a bit of a drawback, but like I said, you'll get used to it if you'd like a nice wah pedal for not so much money. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? IT'S BLACK!!!! PERIOD! Reliability How has it stood up over time? It's holding up very well. We're still getting to know one another I bought it as something I can just take with me NOT attached to a board. Sooooo, TIME will tell.
Well worth the Cash

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? I rate this a 4. Generally a good product for me so far. However there somethings about this pedal the could have been done better. 1 the spring if your gonna use one it could be 1 1/2 times thicker gage. Reliability How has it stood up over time? I have not had this product for long time but i do use it on a regular basis. General Your general opinion of this product. So far its generally a fairly good buy. As a cheaper version of the dulop 535 Q crybaby wah pedal. It's does have some draw backs all in the construction of this unit that is why i rate it a 3. If you are like me this units is a good buy for someone on a budget. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? does not really apply Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? The overall tone is pretty good. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? As far as the paint job it's standard. I really don't care. Action How was the action out of the box? This pedal is fairly easy to use.
