Product Rating What is your opinion of this product? I used YouTube videos to learn how to use this device, The enclosed printed manual was very sparse with small print. However there are explanatory YouTube videos that really help. The connectors worked, the volume controls were fine and the switches all worked. This is much sturdier than having an IRig connector hanging off the 32 pin connector. I have successfully used this device to make a recording with background music and a spoken voice narration on top. Overall, I am satisfied and glad I bought the IS202.

What is your opinion of this product? The product seems geared towards turning an iPad into a DAW, providing the standard type of input conditioning and direct/playback monitoring you would expect with a 2x2 USB audio interface. In my case, I'm using it to run Vocalive for live vocal mic processing, so I'm not using most of the functionality it provides. For the most part the device works well. However, it does tend to heat up the iPad quite a bit after extended use, so I would turn off the iPad when not in use. Also, there is a loud audio thump passed through the outputs when an app is started up or shut down. In my case I'm only using one app so I don't care, but if you are planning to switch apps live, be aware you'll need to turn the volume down on the unit first.
