Overall:	QUALITY: Product is great and I'd love a rack to mount it in. FEATURES: Many features. It does take a person with some intelligence to read the instruction book and set it up. Once done VIOLA EASE OF USE: Very good VALUE: Excellent. I assume not much better for maybe three or more times price. SOUND: GREAT, I produce a radio FM folk-Americana show in my home studio. This unit functions exceptionally well. STYLE: Folk, Blues, Jazz MUSIC EXPERIENCE: Recording engineer OVERALL: Great, with many extra features. You need to work with it for a while to set it up as it should be.

Overall:	I've owned an Alesis and others and this unit blows them away. Much easier to use and much more forgiving with heavy compression. When I want a gate to function, I want it NOW!! The MDX delivers. The de-esser works too - imagine that!! QUALITY: Rock solid Behringer - as you would expect. FEATURES: I really like the automated soft-hard knee feature - dummy proof and no mess function when transitioning from soft to loud songs during a gig. Makes studio life a lot easier as well!! EASE OF USE: This is the easiest set up compressor / gate / limiter I've ever owned. Manual is well written. VALUE: You can't find anything comparable for less that $100... SOUND: I don't even need my EQ now with the enhancer network - it brings the highs back up even after heavy compression. In the studio - I just plug the MDX1600 straight into my Korg digital and start recording - STYLE: Songwriter -
