Overall:	I bought this as a start to a processing chain I am building for a radio station studio. The unit processes the whole mix at the moment. On its own, it provides very predictable compression results with very little "pumping". I have tried using the gate however it is rather un-usable, far too harsh and not a very smooth release. The other features work excellently and as a low-end processor it is ideal for people on a budget. I have driven a very strong signal into it and there is no distortion up until an extreme point. The limiter works well as a brick wall limiter, with virtually no colourisation. I find there is very little self noise. The unit can also be setup to work as an effective AGC if you use the attack and release settings correctly.
