Great for Churches

Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
So far so good! This is the 2nd one I've owned. I sold the first one and bought a larger system. Got tired of the big stuff, and downsized again.
Features
What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could?
Very compact 3-spaces in my rack. The XLR connections are nice, just use mic cables. I love the faders! In fact its the only rackmount mixer of its size with faders. Mute switches would be nice to have - but no big deal.
Ease of Use
How easy is this product to use? How easy is the product to use with other products? Did it take long for you to learn to use this product? Was the manual helpful? How playable do you consider this product to be?
Very easy to use! I use it with a pair of powered speakers as my main PA in small formats. When I'm in a larger auditorium, I just send my fix to the main PA - works great!

Solid build. Controls are not as firm feeling as a higher costing brand, but it does not cause a problem.

the XLR outputs make this ideal for sending multiple signals to a stage snake. I use it as a keyboard mixer. the monitor send is also useful for sending to a powered monitor right in front of me. The mixes are completely separate (which is good. the sound man won't get mad at you for tweak with your monitor knobs).

The manual explains everything very well. However, I did not need to consult the manual for anything other than precise specifications. Very easy to use, yet professional.
Sound
How is its Tone?
the sound is transparent (this is good for a mixer. you want the sound to be as transparent as possible) I have not tried the internal effects. I have read reviews that the effects can be a bit noisy, but I would have to check it out.
Reliability
How has it stood up over time?
I would recommend using this inside a rack case (duh. it's a rack mixer). This way, it is almost impossible to break it (smashed knobs, mangled power socket). very sturdy. I do not expect this to break ever.

I have not been able to notice any fault with this product. I have used behringer mixers in the past, and I would say it is the best thing they do. They are very good at it.

What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could?
Price. You won't be able to find a sub-mixer with 8 XLR inputs for cheaper. Usually they have 4 or 6 and then some 1/4 inch jacks. the others with XLR inputs are much more expensive. It's also very light.

Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
The knobs are quite cheaper than the mackie knobs as far as the plastic goes but otherwise, the sliders are fine and it has withstood a pretty good beating from general use.
Features
What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could?
The effects are not too bad. I don't really use them too much. The channel mix is really basic and could use more EQ settings.
Ease of Use
How easy is this product to use? How easy is the product to use with other products? Did it take long for you to learn to use this product? Was the manual helpful? How playable do you consider this product to be?
It's really very basic to use. I use mine as a sub-mixer for drum mics or as a line mixer for acoustic guitars.
Sound
How is its Tone?
It sounds OK. I don't notice any extraneous noise from the channel on my Mackie that this unit is plugged in to. As I said, the channels on this unit could use more EQ settings but what do you want for 200 bucks?
Reliability
How has it stood up over time?
I've been using mine for a couple of years with no problem. I have it mounted in a gator case with a Mackie mixer on top and this mixer in the front and it gets bounced around occasionally moving it from gig to rehearsal space and back. So far it has stood up as well as the Mackie.
Overall

For the price, this gives me 8 more mic pre-amps or additional lines into my PA set up which is great for the money.

SOUNDS AS GOOD AS MY OTHER MACKIE UNITS, I USE THIS MIXER TO ADD 8 MORE MIC PRES TO THE MAIN BOARD OR AS SUB-MIX FOR KEYS AND DRUMS.

It is well made, solid. So far it's been very dependable.
Features
What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could?
Being able to add this right to my rack makes it really convenient. The 2 features that would be beneficial to this unit would be a mute and solo button for each channel. And, it needs "mid" in the EQ section.
Ease of Use

It's a mixer...not much to it if ya know musical gear.

Besides the two things described above, this unit is a great buy for the amount Behringer is charging.
