The built in effects are a nice feature to have,..the mic pre-amps sound great, I would add 2 more aux sends and this board would be perfect in my opinion. For some unknown reason Behringe got a bad rap, but I have lots of Behringer gear and this board is constructed VERY well, it is well engineered, and I can depend on it to do the job every time I fire it up. There is no learning curve with this board as long as you have the well written and concise manual.... Sound How is the tone? The effects lend a lot to individual inputs and to the overall mix as well. Reliability How has it stood up over time?
