The 8 buss and 6 selectable AUX send outputs plus 2 channel stereo make it a great fit to work with the 2 M-audio 2626 I just bought from AMS. Now With an Older version Of protool I have.. I can record 16 Simultaneous channels of Gorgeous Analog Audio threw this beast. The English EQs rock.. Love the Meter bridge. I know whats going on all the time everywhere. Can reach(and see verything)It enables me to use everything I own.I run two seperate computers for recording. ACID pro 7. and Protools 7.4. With the M-audio Ultra 8 R and the two linked M-Audio 2626s. Im still learnign everyday. But was able to get it recording with in 2 days. Sound How is the tone? Clear. thumpy when I want it. Midrange built for METAL \m/. Im really happy I got this baby ! Reliability How has it stood up over time? 7 months in... no trouble, and I dont expect any... Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? If it has a down side it would be quality, I've had to replace pre-amps several times on my last board. When I received this one there were several screws that had come out during shipping. It's not a board I would like to take out of the studio often.
