Product Rating Product Review I played my gretsch through this and into a kit cigar box guitar amp. It made the cheap 9v powered amp with a three inch speaker sound like a tube amp. Awesome!

Product Review Behringer pedals are so low cost they must be bad, right? Wrong. Watch the JHS Behringer pedals video on youtube. He breaks it all down. And it can easily be said Josh knows a thing or two about building great-sounding pedals. So the TM300 is basically a clone of a famous amp emulator pedal. I don't have it nor have I ever played through it, but I can say the Behringer version is very good. You get three amps to choose from: a Tweed, a Brit, and a Calif. If you've been on your tone quest you should have a pretty good idea of what they are. This pedal also gives you three different mic positions, and three different gain structures: Clean, Hi Gain, and Hot. When the Drive knob is on Max the sound can get quite noisy. I believe this pedal is best set on the lower gain settings, with the Drive knob below 12 o'clock. For me, the best setting is the Tweed Amp, and any of the three Gain structures settings (Mod is the switch with three positions), and Drive knob applying enough dirt to make things interesting. On a two channel amp, this pedal really makes your Clean channel come alive. It's amazing how much it changes the character of your amp. There's this fullness now that wasn't there before. A Tweed amp has a certain sound to it and this pedal gets you in the ballpark. I'm still experimenting with all the settings but so far I haven't been able to emulate the audio Nirvana a Tweed amp gives when cranked. Switch over to the Dirty channel of your amp and re-adjust the pedal to your liking. It's more of the same effect you have on the Clean channel. There's this body and fullness that wasn't there before. Another amp I have is a single channel Class A 5 watt tube monster with a 10" speaker. The TM300 once again works it's magic. I get the sense the amp is a lot bigger when the TM300 is on. I used to think my amps sounded pretty good and I'd dialed them in pretty well and liked the base tone. After playing through the TM300 and then depressing the pedal to turn it off I'm shocked at how "bad" my amps now sound. Basically, the TM300 is a set-and-forget-and-leave- it-on-all-the-time pedal once you dial it in. There are so many great sounds you can achieve with this pedal, as well as other uses. I have yet to try going direct into the console and recording some tones, but I'll sure give it a try. For the money Behringer is charging this pedal is a steal. Well worth every penny. Take your time dialing it in and you will be very glad you put this one on your pedalboard.

Product Review I bought this pedal to try it since it wasn't that expensive and was surprised by it. The distortions in it doesn't sound that bad through my amps.

Product Review I'm using the Tweed setting for a clean sound and the Brit setting for a crunchier sound. You can get some great effects if you spend some time exploring. Simple but deceivingly awesome!

Product Review I always wanted to try a T*ch21 GT2 pedal but didn't have the money for it. Then I saw that this Behringer TM300 is an exact duplicate of it and it not only sounds great, it is a real bargain as well. This thing is amazing. First off: many guitar players use it as a distortion pedal and it is fantastic for that. A huge range of drive levels, great EQ control and string clarity even with a lot of gain. Then there's the function as an amp modeler which is what it is really intended for. Let me start by saying that I've owned multi-effects pedals by Line 6 (3 of them), Boss and Digitech. They are complicated to use and even just figuring out what output mode to put the pedal into is confusing and a pain. No such issue here. Add a reverb/delay after the TM300 and another overdrive or wah pedal in front and you have all you need to go direct to a PA or recording interface and it sounds amazing. If you set it for a cleaner or crunchier tone and then use another pedal for your distortion, you've got a 2 channel set up (even 3 if you have different gain levels to your front end pedals). All easily switched on and off without complicated menus, or scenes, or too few foot switches like the mini Helix type units with just a few buttons for dozens of functions. I'm not sure what the mojo is that they put into this circuit but it works and works well and works easily. So I have this on a pedal board with other pedals and effects and I can use it as a "fly rig" and go direct, use it into the effects loop of some backline amp or use it in the front end of an amp as a regular distortion pedal. Even when I gig with my amp, this comes along as my backup amplifier. And...All this for the most absurdly low price you can imagine. I'll be buying a second one to use as a spare.

It's made out of plastic but looks like it can hold up fine. It uses a spring loaded button to turn it on or off which is visible when putting the battery in. I've only had it for a few weeks and haven't used it much. Your general opinion of this product. I think this is a decent pedal for $25 but it definitely does it blow me away. I bought this based on some very good feedback from a friend. I needed something quick just to add a second guitar to my PA without having to plug in another amp. It does the job but I find it a bit noisy. I won't be using it very much since I have other options. Again, for $25, there is nothing to complain about. N/A I think the tone was ok. It obviously doesn't come close to a real tube amp. I also have some Line 6 stuff and a Digitech modeler and have to say those two are far better. I have to say, that mine was pretty noisy. I'm almost thinking that maybe I got a defective one since no one seems to be commenting on that. Looks nice in blue. N/A

Plastic. Wish it was a metal case. So far so good. Have owned other B-pedals and have had reliability problems... Your general opinion of this product. Great pedal for the money Easy to use Very nice tone when use direct into amp. Do not chain these B-pedals, they muddy up when chaining. Nice Nice

I like it better than boss distortion pedals I've used. nice color nice

Plastic case seems as durable as the cast metal ones I have had no problems with Behringer equipment Your general opinion of this product. Its great for direct recording, playing thru a PA and front-ending an acoustic amp
