QUALITY:
It seems like it's made of flimsy plastic and the knobs seem fragile, although it has endured some abuse with nothing broken.
FEATURES:
Sounds are great - models are excellent, effects could be better (and cannot be layered)
EASE OF USE:
Not easy to read the manual (not all features are adequately described or editing explained in easy-to-read language), but be patient. Once you have an understanding of the features and capabilities through experimentation, you can appreciate what this will do for you.
VALUE:
Very worth the price - a steal at twice the price and superior to similar units from other manufacturers.
SOUND:
Sound is excellent. Any buzzing or noise can be eliminated with the Denoiser feature, and amp and cab models are top-notch. | |

Seems to be made of cheap plastic, but should hold up as long you don't let a wild ape get hold of it
FEATURES:
I only gave it a 4 on features because the genuis who designed this, forgot to include an on/off switch. So the only way to turn power off is to unplug it from the wall.
EASE OF USE:
The manual was confusing (the index doesn't match up to the corret page) and rather vague with explanating how to edit sounds. After a few hours I had everything figured out through trial and error.
VALUE:
For the money, this is probably the best bass effects unit on the market.
SOUND:
I bought this after learning that the bassist for my favorite metal band, Helloween, uses Behringer. Behringer has gone and done it again. I just got my v-vamp modler/effects unit, and all I can say is that it is the best. The tone, power, control and versatility of this unit is amazing. I am still in the process of tapping into all that it can do. I received an e-mail a couple of weeks ago inquiring about my experience with my Behringer 1200 amp, keyboard amp with a 15 inch speaker and 4 channels. Well, in combination with the v-vamp the 1200 is killer. Some of the other reviews complained of noise and the lack of power and speaker movement. So far my experience is rich, full, sweet, clean, quiet sound. I am pumped. For the price, for that matter at any price, this equipment is perfect. I have not run my electric acoustic, a taylor with a sound hole pickup, thru this system yet, but my anticipation is that it will more than meet my expectations. Here's to getting, not only what you want, but getting what you need.
