VALUE: Best bang for the buck in emulation period sure the pod's are great but they are 3 times the price for not much better quality
SOUND: I love the sounds on this personally I use preset 11 with the brit high gain head
STYLE: Metal
MUSIC EXPERIENCE: 30 years

QUALITY: Metal jacks, Heavy duty construction for road use.
FEATURES: You can control the dry/wet mix on effects, unlike POD 2.0 which I already own. It is easier to transport in a rack. The fact that the knobs light up lets you know where everything is instantly. I like my POD but it is a guessing game where bass, gain or what model your using.
----When you take it out of the box and hook it up to your guitar amp push D E simultaneously and arrow up until you move from S1 mode to L2 mode. It eliminates delay when switching presets and gives the best sound for live.
EASE OF USE: I figured out 90% of the features out of the box with half my brain tied behind my back.
VALUE: The Price made me feel guilty for buying it. I can't see or hear why you would spend $800 on the POD rackmount.
SOUND: Rich, thick accurate sounding distortions. The clean is better than the POD. The effects are easy to adj | |

| incredible! has all the nuances of tube distortion, drive, compression and the room ambiance sounds are beautiful! like putting the amp in a drum room and mixing dry/wet to your tastes.
good - awseome dist and drive sounds. cannot be beat. used the fender deluxe setting and recorded it next to my deluxe and the match was impecable. room ambience keeps the sound from being sterile without being noticable. great great sounds. amp models have capacity to go 'over the top' and sound like the speakers are straining to keep up with the power handed to them, allows for that miced on stage pushed so hard it starts to get nasty sound, like old live recordings of hendrix [my best example]
bad - a little bass heavy when used to record direct. amps spend VERY little time on the gain dial before they become dirty. Clean is a little tricky to get.
overall - if you must have the clean sounds of these amps and the way they react to your stomp boxes this might not be the ticket, if you want | |

| Folks are paying over 3 times for the POD units. Don't do it! This unit is just as good as the POD units and it costs WAY LESS!! Superior sounding effects, awesome amp tones, way too many options to mention. Metal housing is a major plus, too. Couple this unit with something like an ADA tube amp and The Behringer cab with the jensens and you have tens of thousands of dollars worth of tone for under a grand! The V-amp is a great bargain all the way. | |
