It is made from particleboard nailed together with a nail gun. Heavy and not particularly strong. Mine arrived damaged so I got a discount and fixed it myself.

150hz internal crossover is not a good setting. Had to use another crossover to get a decent sound.

How is its Tone?
I compared it to a Peavey SP118 and a carvintrx18. For the price it actually compared pretty well. This is not a sub for a gigging band. It would not last. I bought it for the practice room and it will work perfectly for that pupose.

Just take out of the box, hook it up to a crossover and see the world of difference this will bring to your setup.
