General Your general opinion of this product. I'm sorry. I tried to like this amp, but I don't. The design is a non-insulated, non ported, open-back combo, which without an extension, or proper porting of the speaker cab, will vibrate and rattle the amp components and/or speakers apart once the bass control is turned up past 1 on the dial. Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Upon careful inspection, I found nearly all of the internal and external screws needed tightening, including the amp mounts to the cab, and the speaker mounts inside. Not a good sign..... Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? The controls are well laid out, and easy to use. I liked the headphone jack, the effects, and the gain control. The clean channel was just barely passable due to the annoying mid tones I couldn't dial out. The lead channel suffered from this problem as well, though not as noticeably. The bass is particularly strong, and I have to dial it down to near 0 to keep the rattling down to a minimum. Treble is fine, but overshadowed by the bass and mids. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Like so many closed-backed amps, this one is very directional, and sounds best right in front of the speakers. Move to the side just a bit, and it sounds bad. Action How was the action out of the box? It turned on and functioned properly. It's relatively light-weight, which is a plus.... Finish How did the stain or paint job look? It looks ok... Reliability How has it stood up over time? I've had it for a couple of weeks. Between the speakers creating high pressure within a sealed cab, and the amplifier section directly mounted into it, I know thru painful experience that it's just a matter of time before it rattles apart either the speakers or the amp, or both......I recommend it for either studio work, or mic'd thru the p.a. onstage. I don't recommend it for nightclub or bar work by itself, due to the poor tonal quality it exudes from the sides and back of the cab.....A better choice of amp would be the Behringer GMX2x12, 2x10, or the Vampire series, if you can find one....

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? cab and fittings very well-finished. only minor complaint is knobs are a bit wobbly. seems to be common with other behringer amps, which have held up fine. just doesn't add to total quality impression. Reliability How has it stood up over time? only had it a month but own other behringer amps and expect it to hold up well General Your general opinion of this product. overall excellent and comparable to, if not a better performer than way more expensive amps. in a nutshell, great tonal versatility and enough power to easily play medium-size gigs. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? dna Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? tone variable from super clean to massive distortion with 4 high-quality fx. tube emulator works well, very valve-sounding. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? very well-finished. Action How was the action out of the box? dna
