| Subject: | not a bad tube overdrive |
| Quality:
| its' made fairly well, don't know how dependable it is yet. |
| Sound:
| with my set up after reading the instructions on tuning it, the tube sound was real good. |
| Reliability:
| i'm not sure yet, i just got it. |
| Overall:
| as we all know, not all amps, guitars, and pedals sound the same, meaning you have to find the right match for you setup, some pedals don't sound good in some amps, you gotta find the guitar and amp that sounds good together and, then find the effects that work with that set up. this pedal works if you go by the paper work they give you to make it sound good through youre rig. |

| Sound:
| It sounds like most other tube OD pedals. Heres the thing about most of them. A single preamp tube + 9v of current does not a "tube" gain stage make. All of the 9v sigle ended pedals are operating way under power in "starvation" and are not doing what a tube preamp does. they can produce some even (and odd) order vacuum tube harmonics that are contributed to the signal and this is what "warms up" your SS amp signal. If you run a pedal like this in front of a good tube amp you may just get noise - dosent matter who made it or how much it cost. Electroharmonix is the only maker of an actual full on, 2 valve, cascading, pre-amp gain stage, operating and biased at 300+ volts, for under 500 dollars. |

| Overall:
| This isnt a bad pedal at all. For the price, its a good value. |
| Playability and Feel:
| has volume, gain, treble mid and bass controls and an onboard noise gate. not bad for 70 buvks. |
| Tone:
| compares well to other pedals of its type. |
| Finish:
| for some reason i really like the way this thing looks |
| Action:
| it seems well built compared to other low cost pedals |

| Subject: | Does not deliver! |
| Quality:
| Not good, switch was "Mushy" when you step on it,knobs were fine,I do not think it would survive heavy gigging.Poor engineering and manufacturing! |
| Reliability:
| Uncertain,I played it in my chain once in different configurations and it would not deliver a "Warm" sound to me so I sold it. |
| Overall:
| As stated I tried many configurations in my line up with this pedal and it would not do what it says it will,it really sounds like your playing through a muffled tin can,no amount of adjustments mattered.Very disappointed in the Behringer brand.Buy Vox they do deliver a warm sound!!! |
| Playability and Feel:
| Not quality engineering at all, I bought a $70.00 mistake.Live and learn I guess. |
| Tone:
| Thin and Tinny,Not only did it do terrible on it's own,but it really killed the tone altogether in my line up when I included it.I got a Vox Big Ben overdrive now,it DOES deliver a warm sound!!! |
| Finish:
| alright,nothing flashy. |
| Action:
| Switch felt real mushy, but knobs were okay. I will not buy another Behringer product again. |
