The only negative is the blue power LED. Way too bright, almost blinding. I covered it with tape. How in the world did this get through the design phase and get approved??

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Yes, it's really solid, knobs and switches feel durable, power supply is well made with a long cord. Quality seems top notch. Sound quality is just excellent, and I love the EQ's as they are very musical and make it easier to shape your sound. Features What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could? I looked for a mini mixer that had to fit in a small space. This one had more features than any other mini in its class. I really like the fact that each stereo channnel has its own 3 band eq. No effects or compressors on this unit, but I don't need them as I run guitar and other processors into the unit, and then the outputs go to to Left/Right inputs of a digital recorder. I wanted 8 inputs, and this is the only unit of this size that delivered. Ease of Use How easy is this product to use? How easy is the product to use with other products? Very easy, but Behringer also writes pretty good user manuals, and this one is no exception. Sound How is the tone? I'm actually shocked considering the price of this unit. The sound quality is equal to, or better than anything else I've heard, including larger, more expensive mixers. I am mainly concerned about gain levels of my signal to the recorder, and this unit lets you get it up to where it needs to be with no notice-able distortion or artifacts. It really is transparent. Also, both the main outputs, and the headphone outputs deliver the same sound. Very nice. Reliability How has it stood up over time? I've had Behringer before, and like most electronics, if it lasts the first 10 minutes, it'll probably go 10 years. This unit is too young to talk reliability, but so far, no problems. Overall Your general opinion of this product. It's not even a question of money. This unit gives you more inputs, eq's, excellent Xenyx pre-amps, and everything, than any other mixer of this size. The fact that it's relatively inexpensive is a huge bonus.

What features would you add to this product if you could? i think the best feature is the xenyx mic pres. they have great headroom and have a very open sound that is project studio worthy. i would add more eq such as mid sweep and hu pass but if u need that then just get a higher end mixer. How playable do you consider this product to be? seriously this product is extremely easy to use even if u never used a mixer before Sound How is the tone? the sound is great. very clean and transparent. i absolutely love the mic pres. a lot of people say that behringer sounds mlick crap but let me tell you, i compared the behringers pres with the presonus eureka and tomorrow im puttin my presonus on ebay. the xenyx preamps have an absolutely open sound to them that i instantly fell in love with. detail is pretty much the same as the presonus eureka which costs 500 dollars. i have not ran into any noise from this unit but i dont drive it very loud either. on occasions that i have i still have not had noise thast was a problem if any noise at all Reliability How has it stood up over time? only had for about a year and its still going strong Overall Your general opinion of this product. this product does what its supposed to do at a great price. let no one fool you the sound is great. i have a major recording studio and i have been engineering and producing for 5 years and this mixer sounds good. its not a 3000 dollar mixer but for what it is its great.
