Great mixer for the mobile dj who needs multiple input sources. The build quality is sturdy and the overall performance of it was up to par for my dj needs. It was easy to operate once you give it a few test runs and get things set to the way you prefer. Excellent mixer by Behringer.

very well made from what I can tell. I haven't gotten to use this much yet, but it seems very sturdy and dependable so far.
the effects sound awesome. Plus I love the dual headphone monitor system (control room). This is a perfect setup for recording and I can't wait to get started with it. I have been waiting on my new guitar amp as well, and now that it is here i can get started. The effects are so good on this they can be used for vocals or guitar either.
It seems really intuitive although I've only just tried it a time or two to test it out and haven't really got into recording yet with it. I don't anticipate having any real issues with it though.
awesome sound.

The 1002FX is perfect for what I needed

I just got it, but it feels solid. There's no on/off switch, but I knew that before I bought it. I'm a singer-songwriter and wanted something small and easy to use for solo or duo gigs. This perfectly fits the bill.
It's quiet, easy to use, and has 100 effects.
Very simple. The only thing I needed to look up were the FX presets. Otherwise, everything is pretty self-explanatory.
It sounds great. It's quiet, and gives me the flexibility I needed to play a couple of instruments and a mic with some reverb or delay. In addition to sounding great live through an amp, it was a lot of fun to listen through headphones - with the reverb, I felt like I was in a live setting. I'm also planning to try this in my Pro Tools Mbox setup for easier routing of instruments and mics for recording. I wasn't sure if it would be quiet and clean enough to match the focusrites on the Mbox, but I think it is!

This mixer has a good solid feel to it and doesn't appear to be cheaply made.
The features that attracted me to this mixer were the phantom power and effects section. I actually bought the mixer to mike my upright bass and plug my electric bass into. I come out of the outputs into my bass amp. I figured for a few more bucks I may as well add the phantom power and effects so I could use the mixer for other applications. The tape outs are cool as well. The only thing I would have added would be an on/off switch.
The mixer is pretty well self explanatory and easy to use. I haven't even opened the manual.
The sound is crystal clear and clean as a whistle....no hums or buzzes. It's very quiet.
