How dependable? this thing is bulletproof, the cartridge can handle the spit from the metal vocalists, they can take being dropped and thrown across the stage. my 58s were all ruined, I replaced them with these and they kick a$$!! The highs,the lows,and the mids all have good balance.

What features would you add to this product if you could? Two things are the best features: 1- the price! Cannot beat it. 2- amazing true and accurate sound quality. I don't even use EQ with this mic- just a tad Reverb and maybe a hint of Chorus or Flange, if called for. Sound How is the tone? Really blown away by the range and accuracy of this little mic. Feels like my old Beyer M69! In your hand, feels like a good ole SM58. I have a wide vocal range; really super resonant and pitch-perfect -- this mic catches it all. HOWEVER, while the SM58 can handle your mouthy a foot away, this little mic cannot. You have to stay within 6 or so inches to allow it to capture resonance in vocal higher registers.

THIS MIC IS STURDY, WELL DESIGNED AND WELL CRAFTED, THE WIND SCREEN MESH BALL IS SLIGHTLY THICKER THAN THE SHURE SM58 WHICH MEAN IT WON'T DENT LIKE THE SHURES IF IT FALLS.
