Overall Your general opinion of this product. The Blackstar HT-100 is a fantastic amp for the price. The tubes that come stock were a bit harsh, but nothing a quick swap couldn't fix. I purchased it due to the fact that my Seymour Duncan Convertible bit the dust, that and my custom amp is not yet finished. It's well worth the price!!! Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? As far as amps go, it's very versatile, very fun...and quite frankly one of the best sounding tube amps in it's price range. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Wonderful all around. With as many features as this amp has, I can look past the small tonal issues in the "Vintage" or fender like clean channel. The ISF (Infinite Shape Feature) is absolutely incredible. It really gives you unlimited tone options! Finish How did the stain or paint job look? These amps look very vintage, though the tolex on mine was torn straight out of the box due to shipping. However, they look excellent. Action How was the action out of the box? Ready to play!!! Just plug it in, turn it on, let it warm up for about 2 minutes. Plug in and PLAY!!! Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Extremely well made (for korea) and even for some US Products. They're sturdy, the customer service at blackstar is great and they will help you with all kinds of problems. However, for those "DIY" guys out there... Blackstar WILL NOT give out info on biasing their amps or any other modification info. You MUST use a certified blackstar repair shop. Reliability How has it stood up over time? I've only had this amp for a few weeks. However, Blackstars are INCREDIBLY DURABLE! I previously owned the Blackstar HT-60Stage and gigged it heavily. I used it on a US Tour with over 75 shows and it never once crapped out on me.

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Very well made. Built like a tank. Reliability How has it stood up over time? Only had it 3 mo. so far so good. Built solid, it is NOT a lightweight. Overall Your general opinion of this product. Great sound for just about anything you want to play. I don't play anything heavier than Black Sabbath, Ozzy so I don't know about any extreme Metal.I had it a week before I noticed that the Clean channel didn't have a mid control. It took 8 calls/e-mails to find out why. Even some of the people at Blackstar did not know. The Clean is based on the old school Fender clean amps which did not have a midrange control. Simple enough. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? Be careful with the control knobs on the front panel as you can pull them off if your not careful. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Fantastic tone from Fender cleans/broken up cleans to Blues/Chrunch to some Metal tones also. Action How was the action out of the box?
