Responsive and can be tight or loose.I play everything from Country chickin' pickin' to Metal and it does it all!!!! finally a perfect amp! scoop the mids or put em' out there,it may take a few plays to get everything out of it as it takes time for the tubes to burn in,probably a day or 2,and then look out!

Yes, the tubes that ship in it are probabley not the best hand selected available, but as the other reviewer incorrectly pointed out "you do not need to re-bias this amp when changing power tubes" it's a fixed bias cathode style power section. This is part of why it has a bit of that class A chime going on. It's 40 watt sibling (HT-40) is a class A/B power section, and needs to be biased when replacing tubes. As far as releability over all, that is yet to be determined, I just got her ! Overall Your general opinion of this product.
