Not what I was Looking For

Your general opinion of this product.
An indulgent practice amp. I really was thinking a low watt (under 15 watts)compact practice amp. However all the amps I found came up short in one way or another. Then my brother recommended the Blackstar. The guitarist in his band was really happy with the HT40. I notice a lot of people are wondering if the HT20 is loud enough..it probably is for most intimate settings however I think the "Studio" designation hints at its purpose. I thot the digital Reverb was pretty good on its on However the amp, Sounds Great with the Way Huge Aqua Puss in the effects loop. PeaCE
Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
Yes, should last for a lifetime.
Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
At my limit for size & weight. I think its about 28lbs.
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
Actually Dark & smooth really sum's it up along with the 4X8 cab. Capable of jangly tones with some tweaking.
How did the stain or paint job look?
How has it stood up over time?
