| Despite the fact that I think the BLUE mics are rather ugly, they have held a strange appeal as I've tested them and read about them. So, I finally made the plunge with the Dragonfly. I haven't been the least bit disappointed. While I don't see the Dragonfly ever becoming a go-to vocal mic, I must say that I have finally found a mic that makes my acoustic guitar sound as good as it should. I invested quite a bit in a really nice acoustic guitar, and I'm glad to have found a mic that really captures its magic. From the crisp, bright upper ranges to the warm, friendly lower side, this mic sounds like it was made just for my guitar. It's very easy to use, and its body style makes it highly functional. There's something really cool about the BLUE mics... and as for the Dragonfly, it has lived up to my high expectations. | |

QUALITY:
Blue Mics are the finest microphones made at present. There may be a few others who are peers, but Blue is at the top of the list. Heck, they make their own SCREWS! They are that picky.
FEATURES:
The integrated shock mount is utterly convenient.
EASE OF USE:
You have to take extra time for mic placement with the Dragonfly.
VALUE:
Great value, but not a 5 because it's hard to get a 5 for value from me.
SOUND:
This is one of the best guitar amp mics on the planet. (Also try a Royer 121). Can also be a great vocal mic on the right performer.
