General Your general opinion of this product. Replaced my SM58 with the encore200. What a difference! Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Very well built. Comes with a a soft bag to carry the mic in. Have used the mic on only a few gigs, so not sure of the long term durability. The mic is heavy and seems very well built. Ease of Use How easy is this product to use? How easy is the product to use with other products? Did it take long for you to learn to use this product? Was the manual helpful? How playable do you consider this product to be? The phantom power is the only thing I have to remember to set up coming from using a non-powered mic. I did have to swap out mic cables because of noise issues...but my cables were somewhat old and lower quality (although noise is not an issue with the SM58). Features What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could? The mic looks sharp...plenty of bling under the stage lights! Sound How is the tone? The sound is incredible. Compared to the SM58, it's like taking your fingers out of your ears!

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? The build quality of this mic is exceptional. I do not expect any problems with this as long as I own it. Features What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could? I purchased an Encore100 a few months ago to replace an old SM58 that had seen better days. I was so impressed with the clarity and overall build quality that when I saw the Encore 200 on sale on AMS I bought one without hesitation. It takes the sound quality of the 100 and moves it up a notch. I don't have to EQ the vocals as much anymore and feedback has become less of an issue. Personally, I would not change a thing. Ease of Use How easy is this product to use? How easy is the product to use with other products? Did it take long for you to learn to use this product? Was the manual helpful? How playable do you consider this product to be? Plug it in, turn on phantom power, done! Sound How is the tone? As I said before, clarity is much improved over the SM58's I was using. Also, it seems to have a lot more presence which helps it cut thru the mix better. I like that I really haven't had to adjust EQ to get great sound from it. General Your general opinion of this product. I am extremely impressed with the Encore series mic's. I am tempted to buy an Encore300 at some point. If you’re on the fence, don't hesitate, buy this mic. You won't regret it.
