Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? The build is very solid feeling. I wouldn't kick it round much, certainly, but it feels more durable than any of the mixers I've toted round for the same purpose. The knobs feel much more solid than even high-end sound boards; of course, those aren't meant for toting in a gig bag. Features What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could? I love the scenes. I have a couple different scenes set up for my solo shows, depending on the instruments I take. For electric shows gigging with a band, I love to run my Epiphone archtop through it, in lieu of a guitar amp. I can run it clean or just add a bit of compression (via the T1) to make it more edgy. Not generally needing a thrash metal sound, it has proven very capable. Ease of Use How easy is this product to use? How easy is the product to use with other products? Did it take long for you to learn to use this product? Was the manual helpful? How playable do you consider this product to be? Plugged guitar, tenor banjo, vocal mic, and stompbox (percussion, not FX) mic into T1, then ran a TRS cable to my L1 Compact. For the channel presets, I dialed in my guitar type, my vocal mic (Beta58A), and "kick drum" for the stompbox. For the tenor banjo, I just picked mandolin and tweaked a little. Really was easy. Especially since, once I had it dialed in --after a minute of dialing- I turned the main switch to scenes, and saved it as a user scene, giving it a name I liked. Piece of cake, and didn't take too long to figure out at all. Mess around at home before gigging with it --just in case- but it really is a breeze to pick up. Sound How is the tone? The sound from the T1 is brilliant. The factory-included scenes have some good examples of getting the thing set up with just enough effects or tweaks to make vocals and instruments sound great through my L1 Compact, or through my computer. Reliability How has it stood up over time? Like I said, it feels solid. I've yet to have issues with it, but, of course, my time with it hasn't been long yet. Overall Your general opinion of this product. I love this thing at shows. It takes so little space, which, as a solo performer who often takes buses and Amtrak, quality gear that takes little space is invaluable. The hard cover for the face, the included soft case, and the selection of attachment arms, make it easy to set up and to put away quickly for teardown. For the money I spent, I'm glad to be able to put it away safely without yet more expense.
