Must DVD manual for smooth recording!

Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
For the price, I would say this was worth it. Again, if I didn't have this dvd, and just relied on hardcopy manual, I would have missed out many features as BR1200 can do so many thing ! It's unbelievable.

Sound
How is its Tone?
Bill provides sample sound when he plugged in his bass and electric guitar, also explained tons of COSM amp not just for musical gears, but for vocals as well. There are hundreds of patches and other sound settings you can choose!
Reliability
How has it stood up over time?
This DVD will be very reliable whenever I get stuck with certain segments. I42 minutes...now that is what I call a true tutorial. The host guy (Bill) is also an experienced Roland engineer, and he knows what he is talking about.

Your general opinion of this product.
I have to admit, the paper manual of BR1200 is lengthy, thus you may not always get the 100% feel of instructions. This DVD takes you step by step and also adds extra tips (stuffs you will not know or missing)! I especially liked the Rhythm Section tutorial, if you want to use the EZ Compose way ( significantly make 8 measures of Chord Progressions and keep adding it ) or hard way of building patterns ... but still doable. I almost reconsidered buying Boss DR880 and trasnfer the rhythm section, but after viewing this DVD, I felt confident I can build my own without much hassle.
