Fine, Quality Recording
Quality:
I consider the BOSS BR600 to be well made, and it is dependable
Features:
All the features of the BOSS BR600 are well engineered, there is no "one" feature that stands out, that would be up to the user to determine per application.
Ease of Use:
The BR600 is easy to use, other products easily interface with this recorder.[Read the manual, the basics first, then sections relating to your applications].
Sound:
The tone is fine. [use good earplugs, headphones, speakers],
Reliability:
I haven"t had my recorder long enough to know how it will stand up over a long period of time, but judging from other products of similar design, [few moving parts, good electrical connections], the BR600 should last a long time.
Overall:
This is one little B-A piece of equipment considering it's size and cost.

Powerful Little Piece of Equipment
Quality:
Seems to be made well, despite the case being made of plastic. It is more substantial than you would think.
Features:
Portability is key here. I like the unit's small size and light weight.
Ease of Use:
There is a lot of information to read up on, but the basic operation of this unit is simple and easy to understand.
Sound:
Reliability:
I've only had the unit a short amount of time, but it seems like it should hold up well.
Overall:
I am impressed by all that this unit can do.

Grandpa's First Digital Recorder
Quality:
Not for "butterfingers". I would not want to drop the unit. It could benefit from metal casing.
Features:
I was amazed at what they could pack into that little box. The features are so plentiful that after months of daily use, I am still finding little features that make me giggle with delight.
Ease of Use:
Being that I was an old analog guy, the manual frightened me at first. It took a few days of trial & error to navigate throughout the screens but once that was achieved,I could give lessons!
Sound:
Sound quality is fantastic, especially the exterior mics. Great for live recording as well as studio.
Reliability:
The unit is very reliable, it always does what it's told to do without a glitch.
Overall:
Overall, I have had many hours of fun with this product and it has never let me down. It is great for a beginner or advanced musician.

Worth every penny

Features:
It has everything you need to make a polished home recording. I use nothing but my guitar and some times a bass, but the bass simulator is cool, as is the acoustic simulator. If you're planning on recording a whole band get a model with the ability to record more than two tracks simultaneously. The memory card that comes with it is very limited. Even the best 1gig card can only handle a few songs with a lot of tracks. I wish it could take a bigger card. I've had a few problems with the computer back up and lost some stuff so I prefer to store everything on a card.
Ease of Use:
Its a little difficult getting the hang of it but once you figure it out it's pretty straight forward
Sound:
The tone is amazing. I have been unable to get a better sound with my amp and a mic than I can get with the built in presets
Reliability:
I've had it almost a year and it has withstood a couple spills and being carried in a gig bag.
Overall:
It's great. I am in a original band and I able to make great sounding demos with the BR600. Also I am able to sinc up with ProTools and record my parts at home and then sinc them up in the studio with the "real recorder"
