What features would you add to this product if you could? The best features are the ability to get great sounding recordings with either direct line or microphoned drums and amps. The Br800 is not a one trick pony. Ease of Use How easy is this product to use? How easy is the product to use with other products? Did it take long for you to learn to use this product? Was the manual helpful? How playable do you consider this product to be? I was using the Br800 as a stand alone right away. The included software took some playing with, but I was using the BR800 as and interface within the first couple of days. It works just fine on my sons inexpensive Toshiba laptop. Sound How is the tone? The recordings are very high quality for such an inexpensive machine. Reliability How has it stood up over time? Its only been a month, but I use it daily as does my 12 year old son. Not as much as a hiccup yet. General Your general opinion of this product. I think the BR800 is a great machine for home recording. I use my own effects, but I would be lying if I said I did not love playing with the Rhythm and Cosm effects included on the Boss BR800. I think its a great machine for the money. The recording package was a GREAT bargain!

I rock this recorder for all my projects in the last 6 months and it's got incredible cosm effects and compression for making that perfect mix. Ease of Use How easy is this product to use? It's not 100% simple, but what recorder is? The EZ Recording function takes beginners through the process, but after you get rolling with it, it becomes like 2nd nature. Sound How is the tone? Sounds as sweet as molasses. I've been recording all sorts of stuff from metal to rap to blues and it's incredible Reliability How has it stood up over time? 6 months and it still looks great, faders work awesome and the sound is all I could hope for.
