| Quality:
| It's pretty solid. The outer casing is mostly plastic, so if you're gonna gig with it pack it in a nice gig bag or road case. I use it mostly in my home studio so its not a major issue |
| Features:
| Love the features. I'm just learning how to program it now, and haven't had a use for the footswitch yet. |
| Sound:
| pretty good really. A lot less cheesy than some of the other "vintage" drum machines out there. The Sound Shaping, TSC, and Ambience additions are nice - you can get some more realistic sounds out of it. |

| For the price, its a really good value. |

QUALITY: I think the machine is well constructed. Great value for the money. I suspect this unit will last as long as I need it to in my field. The only thing I would change is the bass pitch range. I know the more expensive units have that capability.
FEATURES: Great features. The real time recording is great. And if I don't have the beat I can step record a custom beat.
EASE OF USE: Too easy
VALUE: Great value for the price. I did get a smokin deal. I would gladly pay the retail price or a little less.
SOUND: The sound quality is awesome. |

QUALITY: Yes it's made of plastic. No I dont care about that. Alot of desktop type things are made of plastic. What would you posssibly be doing with a drum machine that you would want it made from metal anyway? That being said and the quality of the machine is fine. Buttons could have been a touch larger, so that when taping out a rhythm you couldn't miss the darn thing.
FEATURES: Oh it's got plenty of features for a machine of this price. For it's price it's got enough features to easily justify paying 50 bucks more.
EASE OF USE: And here's where Boss needs so very much help. It's not easy for the first timer to use at all. I bought this thing 3 years ago. It's manual is so dry and complex that I got frustrated and put it back in the box. I finally dug it out again 7 months ago and forced myself to learn to use it. Get some asprin, thats all Im saying. That being said once you learn how to use it, it's okay at best. It could be a |
