I bought it for my boss rc-505 looper. I play guitar and it makes it so easy to record tracks or loops with the hit of the foot switch so i can stay on time. Get it for hands free looping for sure!

The only channel swapping pedal that I am aware of that allows for on the fly, channel swapping of all 4 channels of the Katana 50. I have a crunch tone, a heavy tone, a completely clean tone and a clean with chorus tone built to taste and saved.I can instantly access any one of these saved tones with tap of a foot.
Seems to be built extremely well as you would expect a Boss/Roland pedal to be.
American Musical Supply has been outstanding to deal with over many purchases.Interest free payment plans are impossible to beat and a rare option. Their shipping is always timely.They always get it sent out to shipping fast.
So I recommend this FS-6 Boss channel foot pedal and American Musical Supply.

This is a solidly built BOSS product like most things they produce. Individual switches for either Latching or Momentary modes plus polarity reversal make the FS-6 versitile. It is useful in many different applicstions. The omission of a power jack (what's up with that BOSS,you like invented the 2.1mm center negative standard) and a medium-high price costs it a star from me. AMS is awesome though. I have purchased several guitars and various equipment from them through the years and have never had a bad experience. They sent me $20 to spend for my birthday and this is what I bought. Thanks AMS!

Come on Boss (AMS take note), either include a stereo cable or at least let people know that it is not included. Some people who have left reviews have complaining that only one pedal was working, this is because they grabbed one of their own instrument cabals to use, which of course isn't stereo, because they didn't know any better. It may mention about the stereo cable on the blurb that's in the box with the pedal, but that doesn't help initially/before purchasing.
MAKE SURE IT CLEARLY MENTIONS IN YOUR DESCRIPTION:
"STEREO CABLE REQUIRED, NOT INCLUDED!"

The Boss FS-6 is a great add on for my Boss Kantana 50 amp. I now can easily access all 4 of my saved memory setups. It works flawlessly and is well made. Boss’s quality, reliability and functionality stands out in everything I have purchased from their product line. I would highly recommend their equipment to anyone.

Waaay cool, and simple to adjust between latching, momentary or BOTH (one on each swith). I've put one in all my pedalboards for ten years, and now use it primarily with my BOSS MS-3 Multi-Effects Loop Switcher. Definitely a MUST-HAVE Footswitch!!

For years, I'd use the Boss FS-5 switches and liked that I could slide them together to have two pedals essentially become one. It seemed like I was always needing two of them anyways - especially since most units I use them with relied on a stereo cable. This design appealed to me because it's one cable that can control both latching and non-latching and it takes up less space. The price was a bit higher than I prefer but the construction is rock solid and I have had the FS-5 pedals for probably 25 years without an issue...so I expect the same with these.

I got this to use with my Boss DR-880 and am very pleased. I use it to change presets and start and stop during performances (though through the programmability of the 880 I could control many more parameters).
It has the solid feel performance that I’ve come to expect from Roland products. I predict many years of happy use!

works great with my Roland SPD-SX sample / drum pad. i can assign this Boss FS6 dual pedal to do pretty much anything on the SPD-SX including starting/stopping loops and samples, tap click tempo, and much more. is solid and appears to be of good quality that will last for years to come.

I love being able to change the switches from latching to non-latching as needed. I finally have a "stop" button for my BOSS looper pedal now! I also tried this with my Peavey ValveKing amp, and it seems to switch to the distortion channel more smoothly than the stock footswitch. Switching back to clean still seems to produce a lag, but maybe a bit less pronounced than before. And yes, once and for all, you MUST have a 9v battery installed for this thing to function...which is why I give it 4 stars instead of 5; I'd much rather use an AC adapter (are you listening, BOSS?). But overall I'm quite glad to have this switch in my collection...I have a feeling it will prove useful in many ways.

Great quality. Switches are silent and work great.
I have never had one fail. Keep some extra batteries on hand since they do not take an adapter but the batteries will last a long time.

Great quality and ease of use. Very dependable. No noise at all.
Everything about these pedals work smoothly and switches are well made for many years of use.
No noise on switching and does not affect your sound at all.
Silver finish looks beautiful and clean.
Switches work well and interlock keeps them locked side by side like a pedal board and break down so you can stuff them in an accessory bag or case for easy lugging.

QUALITY:
Seems to be sturdy enough
FEATURES:
Nice options: polarity switching, latch/unlatch, dual inputs. Can be used by one sorce or two.
Bad feature is that you have to unplug any inputs you have to kill power to prevent battery drain by light staying on. I dont know how long it takes to drain battery because of this and it may not even be that bad, but I would have liked it to turn off with the device that i use the FS 6 to control.

Install battery, plug it in and use

Seems ok to to me but I'd say it could always be cheaper like everything else.
