Quality product and well made like all boss products.
Reliability
How has it stood up over time?
Very reliable.

Your general opinion of this product.
I bought mine at a pawn shop for 50 bucks. Its a good pedal and defenately metal.
Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
Kind of a gritty tight distortion. Like I said better than a fullbore not better than a metal muff.
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
Darker than the fullbore lighter than the metal muff. Just because this pedal doesn't work with my rig doesn't mean it won't work for you. Its cheap enough you should at least give it a try its very usable. I do hear the boss metalcore is better though.
Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?
Very black and evil looking. Looks great.
Action
How was the action out of the box?
Sounds great and easy to find a tone if your use to useing sweep knobs.

How has it stood up over time?
Ive owned mine for a week now, but the other guitarist in our band has had one for 2 years now and it has stood up through all the stomping, and has been dropped a few times too, but still works like a charm. Its best for Metal genres. If you are looking for a distortion pedal, this the most versatile one to get. BUY IT!!

This product can't be beat for the price. I bought this pedal to hold me over till the new line of bugera infinums come out. I just got back into playing but did not have an amp so my cousin loaned me an old EMX 620 PA system that i was not sure would work as an amp running distortion pedal through, But to my amazment it sounds awsome lots of EQ options also so I was able to dial in a great metal sound..This pedal sounds better then my old peavy valveking atleast as for metal tone.

The best sounding, strongest distortion pedal out there!
