found it in the garbage
Quality:
Its boss! Made out of steel, can't go wrong!
Sound:
People say it does nothing for tone! Get ur ears checked! I've been playing for almost 8 years now, and everything I've learned was all done by ear. Urs I've picked some tricks up out of a book along the way, but my ear is very trained. There is a difference in tone and its for the better!!!
Reliability:
Very reliable, found it in the garbage dinged up and faded. Works like a charm!
Overall:
I found this from the garbage! Its all banged up and dented and faded, that u can't see one word on it so I'm just guessing when I set it up. I use a Randall RH-100 halfstack(from the 80's), and I use this pedal with the amps distortion and there is a big difference. I'm buying a new one of these so I can see what I'm doing...all in all, great pedal for the price!
Playability and Feel:
What can I say, its an easy set up. U just match it to how u like it!
Tone:
When I clicked this pedal on and set it, there was definitely tone difference. Whoever says there's no difference, get ur ears checked!
Finish:
Banged and faded because I found it in the garbage!
Action:
Great, every time I click this thing on, reaction is un time-able.

Hate humming and squeeling? Invest here my friends!
Quality:
Very well made, incredibly dependable. Even with the hottest pickups made it still stands up to the worst feeback and noises possible.
Sound:
It cuts through the garbage and leaves only pure true tones.
Reliability:
Very well. I have used mine for the last two years, non stop everytime I play, which is usually 4-5 days out of every week for hours at a time.
Overall:
Very impressive, well worth the money!
Playability and Feel:
Controls were very easy to understand. Very simple to set up. Loop your effects through it and turn up the guitar. Slight adjustments until the excess humming and all other unwanted garbage is gone, leaving only the true sounds. Very impressive.
Tone:
Amazing sounds. After using it for so long I forget how terrible all the excess noise really is until every once in a great while I forget to kick it on and panic that somthing is wrong with my amp lol.
Finish:
Love the white gloss against all the black fittings. Looks like an electronic angel lol.
Action:
Nice. The instructions were very clear as well which was helpfull if you have neve looped as was my case.

This pedal does exactly what it's advertised to do !
Quality:
This pedal seems pretty rugged and well put together as Boss products usually are, seems like it could or would withstand a full rigorus tour or two and it seems like it will fully withstand being turned on for long hard hours even in hot steamy weather without burning out
Reliability:
I have had it only 2 or 3 days, but as with ANYTHING you buy - take care of it and it will last a lifetime, just dont go dropping it or hurling it down a flight of stairs at someones skull (That's what the cheap brands are for !)! and DONT try to use it as a doorstop !, Honestly, I cant tell you how long a battery will last in it cause mine came with the adapter included so no money wasted on batteries here !
Overall:
It does just what it's made to do, it eliminates all the buzz or picked-up interference you may experience, I find though, that when I turn the Threshold knob all the way up to Max to kill all unwanted noises, buzzes and sounds that it will change my tone a little bit and kill some sustain and change my distortion sound a little (I have this pedal in my pedalboard before all the other pedals, I'm pluged directly into it from my guitar and it still can change your tone even though it IS before the distortion pedal, it even changes if you plug into this pedal last), and if you turn it down too much it will let noise bleed through, you apparently have to set the threshold just right to kill noise and not kill sustain, distortion or tone, but if you have a noisy setup like I have than it will work wonders and give you a sharp clean sound to your notes, I really feel it is a huge improvement on my sound and I am so glad I went ahead and bought it.
Playability and Feel:
You dont really feel it, except maybe with your foot, you cant really adjust it while playing as with ANY pedal unless you have a set of monkey toes so set it beforehand and your good to go !
Tone:
It CAN change your tone and sustain and distortion slightly if you Max out the Threshold reguardless if it is the first or last pedal in your setup, to avoid that either turn the Threshold down a hair or two or just buy yourself a Boss sustainer pedal
Finish:
Seems like anything else, if you take care of it - it will look good and it's finish will last for a long time, Boss recomends that you ONLY clean it with a damp cloth, never use chemicals on their finishes, What I find is that if you really have to clean off a filthy Boss pedal than water down some windex window cleaner, be sure you use the windex withOUT ammonia in it only though, ammonia will change the color a little, I learned that on an old Red Boss PSM-5 pedal that is now more orange at best lol !
Action:
I'm a Hard Rock-Heavy Metal singer/vocalist/songwriter from way back in the 80's & 90's who's played with countless great guitarists from ALL genres of music and have learned quite a lot about guitar equipment from most of them, I'm NO Yngwie, But I can get throuh any cover or original set, these days I'm more of a vintage guitar collector, I started playing guitar back around age 13 or so just so I could work on original songs, but I do know good quality stuff from junk and Boss is simply one of the best brand of pedals you CAN buy as far as new stuff sound goes these days, Boss products always have the sound and edge you are really looking for and they hold up quite well on long tours !, Boss is as good if not better than the old real 70's MXR pedals, most other brands arent even worth considering !
