this pedal, as with most boss pedals, is just another excellent toy to tweek tones for a silly, or serious song. you can get very creative with this pedal.

Pedal sounds good, you need to run it through the effects loop and not in your pedal chain to get undistorted sound.

The best thing about this pedal is how intelligent the system is when it comes to doing the harmonies. Heads up! You must know your scales very well to fully utilize this beauty. It does well with some modes too. Detune is amazing! Great substitute when it comes to a chorus like effect. But I still have my chorus pedal on the board. There are a lot of reviews and tips online about how to properly put this in your chain. It ultimately depends on your setup...but! The best setup is within the FXLoop. If you put after distortion, it will get confused. I think I may make a video to help others. This is the biggest downfall. People just don’t know how to put this in the chain. The harmonies are on point, if you are on point! Looking for those sweet harmonies? 3rd, 5th and 7th? This is it!. Built like a tank. Very durable. If I had one complaint, it would be the volume shift when turned on for the harmonies. It tends to go up in volume. Meaning, your lead solo may be a bit louder than usual. It’s not a big difference, but I play live every month at the clubs. I need my levels to be consistent. Other than that, an amazing investment! The PS6 is a permanent pedal on my board!

Nothing wrong with the pedal, just not my bag. Can get some great tones and noises with this pedal. However it just doesn't fit in with the types of music Im playing. Ive tried and tried to like it and although it has its uses, its no longer on my pedalboard. Definitely more for EVH Style and lead type playing.

sadly have to return the pedal. it keeps getting stuck. some sort of factory defect. seems to be a trend with this pedal specifically. which stinks because it actually sounds awesome when it does work

Wow!!! Just Wow!!! I have had this for a few weeks now and i can't stop playing with it. There is a lot packed into this little effect and you really need to spend some time getting to learn all the little nuances of the pedal. I'm still finding new things with it.
Individual effects can change drastically depending on the guitar used and the pickup/volume/tone control settings so you really need to experiment. It's very versatile.
For an interesting use try running each output through it's own set of effects and amp. It truly sounds like two individual guitarists rather than one person playing through a single pedal. Having an Expression pedal input adds a lot to this already great pedal as well.
Playing at moderately fast to fast speeds creates some tracking/latency problems. I found a few other minor annoyances but there is not enough space here to list them in detail.
All in all this is a nice little addition to any pedal board and I would recommend it.

I just got this one week ago, but is very well made so I think it will last a long time. why not, it's a Boss.

This PS-6 makes me sound like a pro, which I am not.
I got this to replace a cheaper model and all I have to say is wow, This thing is great.
