For years I used a different power supply. I honestly took a chance and decided to try a new brand. I was amazed on how great this power supply worked.
It has plenty of chord length it is accessible to the most outreaching outlet.
And has a wonderful blue light that illuminates. It's not too bright and it's not too dim. Perfectly illuminated.

I know, I know; algorithms look for five (5) stars. It helps promote a product. Look, it's not that this is a bad adaptor per-se; it is just (as are ALL OEM adapters) over-priced to a fault!
My concern is that if I went with a more budget-friendly adapter, say in the $8-$12 neighborhood, and something about the Boss GT-1B Bass Effects Processor failed; it might void the warranty. Whether that fear is justified or not, I went with the grossly over-priced Boss Power Supply. Better safe than sorry.
Anywho, that is my two cents on the matter.
Go with the OEM if you want to be safe.

Of course it works just fine, but it was an unnecessary purchase. AMS had pictures of accessories that people also bought with the Boss RC-300 Loop Station, so I included the power supply with my order, I mean, I’m spending over $500, and of course, I want to be able to plug it in when I get it, right? Well my AMS salesman neglected to tell me that the RC-300 already comes with exactly the same power supply in the box. Oh well, live and learn. I didn’t feel like messing with the hassle of sending it back. You really should tighten up on this kind of marketing, AMS! Show extra accessories that could enhance the purchase, but at least be mindful of what it is that your customer is purchasing, please!

The adapter works as expected. What I did notice was that there is no noticeable hum. This is a big deal because my recording gear is very sensitive and any hum in the power supply will show up as a recorded artifact. Not something I want to hear in my recordings. Kudos to Boss for getting it right. I've used it for about 2 months, and the power is flawless.

I was sold an off brand power supply by a different music store. It worked but there was a high pitched noise when you used it. When I bought this power supply (recommended by the factory) everything was fine and there was no noise. A clean, good quality power supply is really worth the few extra dollars.

Couldn't get any adapters to work with my boss pedals. I bought this on 2 for Tuesday, a hell of a deal. Now my boss pedals are fully powered and no more expensive 9volt batteries. If you buy a tu-3 tuner and use this for power, you can daisy chain the power to all boss pedals. Absolutely love this adapter!

There isn't much I can say about an AC adapter--either it works, or it doesn't.
This one works for my Boss ME-80 multifeffects processor, and I hear it works with many other Boss electronics. Shipping was free and fast (one day), and the adapter was packaged nicely and securely. It doesn't feel "basic and cheap;" it feels like it was made very well.

What can be said. It works. If you are using one pedal and you need power, hook it up and you're off. I don't like batteries because you never know when they are going, even if you check them before a gig. and 9v are expensive. Two packages and this pays for itself.

I bought this for my Boss pedal board and it works well. It is made to power multiple pedals and does it well. I find the blue led handy to identify it when it sits among other AC adapters in a power strip. So far, it's a good product.
