Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? so far i havent had anything go wrong. you can just feel it when playing it that its built really well. ive had a low end taylor and an $1100 martin and this breedlove feels higher quality by far. Reliability How has it stood up over time? only had it for 2 weeks now. Overall Your general opinion of this product. i absolutly love this guitar, by far the best ive ever owned Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? to me it plays just as easy as any taylor ive played. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? very rich full even tone. crispy and punchy. it just sounds awsome. sounds more like a taylor than a martin. but yet diffrent than a taylor. it has a sound all in its own and its a good sound. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? perfect. not one flaw. Action How was the action out of the box? action was a little high. not bad though. i had i t set up by a proffesional. he said he only had to lower it about 1/64 of an inch.

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Absolutely - no question about it. Reliability How has it stood up over time? After six months she still looks, sounds and plays as good as the day I took her out o the box. She'll be around for quite a while. Overall Your general opinion of this product. This is without a doubt the finest guitar I've ever owned and the best "bang for the buck" I could find anywhere on the market, at least on-line. I had no choice but to purchase on line because I live overseas and had no other choice. It beats the sound and playablity of my Martin D-15 hands down and my last name is Martin! It looks and plays like a dream - especilly the onboard electronics an I wouldn't trade it for any other guitar I've seen or played anywhere. I truely "love" my Breedlove. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? The neck is very well designed - slightly less narrow than many other guitars in the same price range (including my Martin and a very nice old Alvarez I own as well). This makes for faster/ easier maneuvering up and down the fretboard. It's made me a much cleaner and far more creative player over these last few months I've owned it. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Yes -bright and snappy is an excellent desciption along with the information I proved above concerning its sound somehere between the Martins and Taylors. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? Flawlessly impeccable. Apparently, Mr. Breedlove was an art major in college and insists on nothing short of perfection on all his instruments before leaving the factory. Action How was the action out of the box? Very good but I did recently have it professionally adjusted and its now about as good as it gets - darn near perfect.
