Reliability How has it stood up over time? Had it over a month and its still going strong. General Your general opinion of this product. I like this amp. The gain and volume are married together though. You can't just turn the gain all the way up and not NOT have to change the volume and vice versa. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? nice warm tube sounding amp. Likes pedals. I use a Boss BD-2 on it. Works quite well. On the lowest volume setting the amp is still loud as hell! The headphone out doesn't impress me. Sounds bad if you ask me. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? This can produce dark tones and bright tones thanks to the cool tone knob. Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? This puppy is well built! I was surprised at how well it is built.

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Surprisingly solid and well-assembled - the 14x14" open-backed cabinet is 22 lbs. The chicken-head knobs are large with smooth pots. The access for upgrade to the speaker is good. The transformer is way bigger than other 5 watt amps. Reliability How has it stood up over time? Don't know - I just bought it two weeks ago. General Your general opinion of this product. This is a well-made, great-sounding amp. The metal cage around the tubes is outstanding. The digital reverb sounds fine - not at all dry. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? N/A - it's an amp. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Using my Schecter CSH-1 mahogany semi-hollow body with Duncan pickups: At a gig yesterday, whenever I shifted from guitar to piano, my partner kept stealing this amp to play lead (leaving behind a much more expensive amp) - she was a session player in Las Vegas for years and has real good ears. Tone goes from clean to distortion with plenty of highs and decent lows with the internal speaker - because it's easy to upgrade, I plan to install a Weber at some point. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? The amp is nicely covered in a textured black tolex - it's probably vulnerable to scratches and dings. It has good metal corners, large rubber feet, and a roomy, comfortable handle Action How was the action out of the box? N/A - it's an amp.
