Been gigging this amp for about a year, as well as practicing with it. Still sounds great, all knobs, jacks, and other "parts" are intact and working and it still looks great.
Reliability
How has it stood up over time?
This amp has proven road-worthy, although I will admit that I "baby" tube amps - they never ride in a trailer and I'm usually the only person allowed to carry it. I've used it indoors and out, it's never shut off, acted weird, or made a noise it wasn't supposed to make.

Worth what I paid for it.
Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
Since this isn't a guitar but I am a guitar player, I will say that I think the pots/knobs are too easily moved. There's little to no resistance when you turn them so every time anyone picks up the unit to move it, all the knobs get turned. If they were set in or at least a little resistance to casual brushing, that would be an improvement.
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
It's a tube amp - sounds like a tube amp. I've been playing the stock tubes since I got it. You can switch from triode to pentode if you want to have a little change in your dirty sound - this is handy.

Tolex has stood up well to wear - we argue over whether this amp is black or brown.

uh... yeah, the knobs turn too easily. heh.

yes actually very well i thought first thing i would change was the tubes as it is an inexpensive amp. a waste of as 120 bucks but oh well. this thing rocks and then some.
Reliability

i have not had it long enough but i think the way it was constructed should only leave the tube change option that i will exercise when the stock ones die!!

The build quality is excellent. Internally is is as well made as any other amp my eyes have seen. The layout internally seems on par with any other mass produced amplifier. Clean, and precise.

Having a first run Bugera 6262 since December of 2007, I cannot perceive the bugera V55 having ANY issues whatsoever. Those who have complained of issues, seem to be unaware that these types of things, such as a bad molex plug, can be a problem with ALL, I repeat ALL mass produced amps. Internally, I cannot see anything that would be a red flag. The build is as top notch as it possibly can be.

Overall, the amp is a great tool. Being a head, I cannot comment on the speaker that would come in the combo, but I am using a 2 x 12 with 2 Bugera speakers from my 6262.
The amp sounds a little sterile, but tube worthy vs solid state. I found the stock power tubes to be harsh. I currently have a set of JJ power tubes in it, that helped smooth out the gain channel.

How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
The controls are set up very nicely, and the MASTER VOULUME and MASTER PRESENCE is a great thing!
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
The amp straight from the factory is slightly dull on the clean channlel, and harsh on the gain channel. Speaker swaps and tubes swaps tend to even things out with all amps. Of course, it's all subjective.

The head itself is built very well, and has quite a weight to it. The only cosmetic defect I can see is a little but of glue under some piping. That's it.

It is extremely well made for it's price point.

Here is my only concern. I did have a bad one to start with but I am confident that the problem was just a bad power tube and I have had that happen with premium tubes right out of the box.

I am just short of stunned at how good this amp really is. I cannot figure out how it is possible to sell it at this price point. It has the responsive feel of all the great class A amps using 6LS's and the noise floor is lower than even boutique versions selling just under $3000. My only concern is how it will hold up. The first on I purchased (at an online auction) was DOA. I could tell it was a bad power tube. I took a second chance a bought this at AMS so I new I would have a warranty. Many companies do not extend their warranty's to items purchased at auction even when brand new. I found this out the hard way! I can't find any hint of a week link with this product. The corners cut were the correct ones: Fiberboard cab which weighs a ton, plastic jacks, cheaper quality slider switches. These things could prove to be a problem down the road but would not be deal breakers to repair. I will treat this head carefully to avoid any problems.

So far so good. I've had no problems with it. I believe they've fixed any QC problems some people had experience early on.

The faux Tolex feels nice to the touch. The head is quite heavy and solid. Well built feeling.
Tone

Classic overdriven tube crunch. Think early Bon Scott AC-DC and you get a good idea what you can create with this head, but yet it is capable of much more. You'd be a fool to not even give this one a try when shopping for a new amp.

Classic, retro vibe. It's got a really nice look to it that will not grow old.
