Cad C195, a fantastic replacement for your Shure SM58 and Beta 58 Microphone
Quality:
The Cad C195 works even when a musician drops the microphone stand and the C195 microphone right off the front of the stage. I had this happen and the stage crew put the microphone back on the stage and the show started right back up. With smiles from everyone there!
Features:
I feel that the best feature is that this microphone gives you some space between you and the microphone to work, and still does not feed back. It has great directional properties and works great in any stage show I have had to work. It works al the way down to people playing a lap dulcimer with their fingers rather than with a pick. Great instrument and vocal microphone and does not cost an arm and a leg. The C195 also takes the abuse of stage work and keeps working every day...
Ease of Use:
CAD C195 is the best replacement I have ever seen for the Shure SM 58 or 57 microphones. I have done some stage shows as of late and other sound people there did love the C195 so much they did order them the next day for their stock. Also many musicians I know have slowly changed over to the CAD C195 because you don't have to have your mouth right on the microphone. As per using it for acoustic instruments I use the C195 by CAD on Lap Dulcimers and it works great and does not have to be right on top of the instrument like the Shure microphones I did have before.
Sound:
Every musician and storyteller I work with thanks me for working their event, and usually asks me for a recorded copy of their set. As they tell me that this is the best audio they have had from a sound system.
Value:
Yes, I bought these microphones when the price was lowered by AMS in a 6 pack. I also bought the Hard Since I am so proud of these new microphones I bought a new hard microphone case at the same time . I now have bought two 6 packs of the C195 Cad microphones and have retired all of my Shure Microphones.

I have used #58 and #57 Shure ball microphones since the 60s. But now I am a CAD user!!!
Features:
This Microphone lets me only have to take one Model Microphone to a Music Festival. I don't have to tale several kinds of microphones with me anymore!
Ease of Use:
I can set this microphone up with ease any place on stage. Amazing sound and great quality. Also it does survive ruff treatment from Musicians Very Well!
Sound:
I find that with the C195 I can use this on Instruments or vocals with amazing sound!
Value:

Own 5 - Just ordered 3 more!
Quality:
Well made - very dependable.
Features:
Versatility - Our setup requires 4 vocal mics & 4 instrument mics. No other brand I know of has a mic like this. It's perfect for vocals or instruments.
Ease of Use:
We play Bluegrass Gospel 100 times a year. Every venue is different. Using this mic for vocals and instruments is the closest to plug -n- play that we have found.
Sound:
The vocal mics we replaced had a warm tone - the instrument mics we replace required a AA battery - they were hot mics - but agrevating to keep batteries on hand. The C195 has a hot tone. Crisp, clear vocals - sharp, natural instrument tones.
Value:
Are you kidding? This quality for $50.00.. i would like to know where you could find a better deal.

Love, love, love these mics...
Quality:
I have owned a pair of CAD C95's for a long time and they have been used for an array of different live and recording applications. They have stood the test of time, while I have countless Shure mics with blown diaphrams and broken housings.
Features:
The sound quality.
Ease of Use:
As simple as plugging it into an XLR cable and turning on the phantom power.
Sound:
Incredible. Hot output. Full and warm with presence in all the right places up top. Put it next to a Shure Beta 87A and you'll sell the Beta 87A like I did. The CAD kills it.
Do you own this product?:
Yes, 2 of them

Quality:
I own a dozen of these mics, and have not had trouble with any. I use them in with a variety band, a theatrical show, and at a church for contemporary worship.
Features:
This is a high output mic - you'll want to turn down the pre-amp (trim-gain) on your mixer compared to most other mics. This means the pre-amps don't have to work as hard, so even cheap design can sound better.
Ease of Use:
Requires 48V phantom power which most mixers have nowadays - seems to also work with "odd" phantom voltages, like 24V, 32V etc. With the pre-amps correctly set, mic seems better-than-average at gain before feedback.
Sound:
I have a dark voice, and this mic helps with definition/intelligibility while the proximity effect let's me sing bass once in a while. We routinely blow away other mics costing many times more. My sound man calls it my "secret weapon!"
