Great upgrade for small studio !
Quality:
Only time will tell. This is the first week I've owned it, but it appears to be made very well, as stated above.
Features:
I don't have anything to compare it to, as I'm sure that it's not comparable to a $10,000 mic, but for the ridiculous difference in the price, I'm very pleased with the clarity, the rugged appearance and feel.
Ease of Use:
There was no manual with mine; only a spec sheet, but plug it in, turn on the phantom power! This is my first ever condenser mic, and will complement my low-budget equipment, and upgrade my whole recording sessions.
Sound:
My first words when I gave it the Thomas Edison test, was "wow" ! "Popping" is not a "P"roblem ! I have been using various mics for recording, i.e. Shure SM58, AT's and even an old EV664 (one of my favorite oldies), but this will definitely be "THE" recording mic for my humble little home studio. I love it !
Value:
How could anyone go wrong at this price, and leave it to AMS to promote it fearlessly, as a great value !

The tone it gives your voice. Typically I go with sure or some of the higher bidders. But this mic gave me great tone. I was blown away with the sound that it produced.
Ease of Use:
It was very easy just plug in with fantom power and go. Didn't really need a manual
Sound:
Great tone and if you eq it right it can give you everything you need for a small studio
Value:
To me the value was better than great. I would definitely purchase this product if I were you. Trust me, you will not be disappointed. Bet on that

Quality:
The mic is outstanding quality.
Features:
The CAD GXL2200 is amazing quality for the price. The best feature about this mic is the clarity. I use this mic as reinforcement while recording practice sessions with the band. The GLX2200 simply makes the recording so much fuller and alive!
Ease of Use:
The mic is very easy to setup on a mic stand and is very stable.
Sound:
The resulting recordings from this mic are clear, full and alive with sound!
Value:
Excellent value for the money!!!

Disgustingly Cheap....but Good!
Quality:
The product is constructed fairly well, but is made up of cheap components. It uses a sparsely populated circuit board with transformerless output, housed in thin metal. I think it will be dependable if reasonable care is taken.
Features:
The 100 hz hi-pass filter. I would add an external switch, instead of forcing the user to disassemble the unit.
Ease of Use:
Very easy to use, except for the hi-pass switch, where you disassemble the mic. The mic is sensitive to your mixer's 48v phantom power quality. It wants a perfectly balanced power signal, or it will give a slight hum, like it did on my little Tapco 120 board. It liked my Tube MP preamp, though! There was no real manual, and nothing in my kit revealed any info about the 100 hz hi-pass filter. I suspect the mic is a Ningbo Alctron product, despite what CAD says.
Sound:
Very good sound. A little ragged around the edges, but warm and friendly. Not as extended on the top and bottom as my AKG Perception 100, but reasonably good.

Sounds good to me
Quality:
Seems to be made well. I'm sure it can't take the abuse that my 58's do but I'm pretty sure that's common for these. I wouldn't take it on a gig, but who would?
Features:
This is the first large diaphragm condenser mic that I've owned. Sounds good enough to my non-educated ear.
Ease of Use:
Plug it in to something with phantom power and it works.
Sound:
Having no basis of reference to high dollar Neumanns and the like, it sounds good to me. Seems to provide an accurate representation of the input sounds with not much coloration. My only problem is that it's so sensitive I'm having to make adjustments to my recording room to make it more silent.
Value:
Heck yeah, less than $100 for a mic, stand and cable.
