| | | Subject: | Cleanest and Quietist Mic in this price range and more. | | Quality:
| It looks good for the money, we will see how they hold up over time. I am super picky about how I haul and store my gear so it won't be too bad. | | Features:
| This mic works great for what I use it for, vocals and instruments in a live acoustic/bluegrass setting. Set one up between chin and guitar, another between chin and mandolin, when we do 3/4 part harmony the others move it and it gets them all. Also use the gxl1200 on banjo and dobro. I mic the whole bluegrass band with 2-2400's and 2-1200's. It also works for small gigs with just one of these for all. The shock mount could be improved. | | Ease of Use:
| No feedback from monitors, plug via phantom power and works great, cut the highs a little. Also use the windscreen with the 1200, it cuts the pop out. | | Sound:
| clear and super accurate, don't make any mistakes or everyone will hear it. | | Value:
| I bought two packs with a 1200 and a 2400 in each for $200. I replaced 5 mics/$1200 from audio technica for these, and even considering the price savings, I would still pick these. | | Do you own this product?:
