Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Extremely well made... the quality is not questionable... you will believe it when you see it for yourself. Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? The quality of the unit itself is unquestionable... you will know the minute you see for yourself... what you can't see is even more impressive... the recording quality is outstanding. Features What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could? This product has more features than I need; however, the best feature is that the sound you play into the unit is exactly the sound you hear during recording and playback... I've had other recording units in this price range that just didn't capture the sound precisely. The number of I/O options is great for a home studio or small gig environment. My acoustic guitar runs into the unit with an XLR cable and playback sounds outstanding. I love the basic Sonar DAW software that comes with it. I run everything through the unit... my Boss eBand, Akai MPK61 controller, DR880 and I run the sound through a Yamaha mixer... I'm in a music creation/recording heaven What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could? The control surface is awesome and the number/variety of I/O's is just right for small gigs/home studios. The unit does more than I even know what to do with at this point so it's more than I probably need. Ease of Use How easy is this product to use? How easy is the product to use with other products? The manuals this item comes with are outstanding and make getting up and running easy. One of the best features is that I could have an idea in my head and record it without having to be a menu master, computer programmer or DAW Master Engineer... it really is plug-n-record. If you're not made of money, don't run out and buy a $500 DAW software package... this thing comes with a pretty sweet software package. How easy is this product to use? How easy is the product to use with other products? Did it take long for you to learn to use this product? Was the manual helpful? How playable do you consider this product to be? Those familiar with DAWs and basic MIDI controllers will breeze through the learning curve... newby's like myself have to read and go through trial and error, but hey, we all gotta learn sometime:) Value Was this item an overall good value? I'm a little bitter about this because I bought this just before 1 March 2012 and there is now a $100 rebate running through 30 April 2012. I still say it's a 5-star value because the drivers software and manuals make this thing easy to use. I recorded an original song on 6 tracks today and it sounds like a professional studio recording without any post-editing work... I'm not complaining about the $599 I spent on this unit. Was this item an overall good value? Better now that there is a $100 cash rebate... I wish I had know this the week before when I bought the thing... it's still worth the money at full price. Appearance Appearance Looks awesome... it appears that I may make a CD now that I am somewhat of a Music Recording Artist:) Appearance This is a sweet looking unit, very compact, well laid out and organized, easy to navigate with the best hardware and software manuals I've seen to get things started.

I carry it around with me a lot and it hasnt disappointed Features What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could? I love that I can record scratch tracks at my rehersal space and then bring it back home and work on it even more. Ease of Use How easy is this product to use? It's pretty easy to use. Installing the software was really the only thing that took some time. Value Was this item an overall good value? I think it's an a pretty good value. I use it a lot and feel like I already have gotten my money's worth. Wish it had come with an SD card but other than that I am happy. Appearance Appearance It looks nice.

Control your DAW without touching your mouse. XLR, phone, digital, and RCA inputs. Can disconnect from the computer and use as a mixer/recorder. Ease of Use How easy is this product to use? There's a slight learning curve but tech support and cakewalk forum are very helpful. Much more so than competitor's A/Is I've used Value Was this item an overall good value? Yes, especially with the load of Cakewalk software you receive. Appearance Appearance Nice matte finish. I only wish it was built more at an angle so you didn't have to get up over it to see the controls.
