Good overall value..... but poor quality control!
What is your overall opinion of this product?
good cheap keyboard to learn how to play.... the lighted keys make it really easy to learn new songs!
What is your opinion of the quality of this product? How does it work for different genres of music?
its a 200.00 casio keyboard....plastic and what you'd expect.
THE PROBLEM i have is that a few LED's stop working in the C2 range...so basically makes this thing useless to me. at least for learning with the lighted keys.
They were acting "finicky" from day one...now (2 months later) wont work at all...think there's a short somewhere.
Ease of Use
How user friendly is it? Would it work well for a beginner, intermediate or experienced player?
easy to use...didnt really need the manual.
Are the features on the product what you were expecting? What are your favorite features?
The lesson programs are cool. you can actually make your own and load via sd card. which is really cool!
How is the sound quality? How does the sound compare to other products you've use?
not bad piano sound for 200.00 ... it was better than i thought. i dont realy use the other synth sounds but they are better than i expected. speakers are plenty loud!
How is the feel of the keys? Are the controls laid out well?
the keys feel pretty good...smooth.
I actually prefer them to my other midi controllers. better than m-audio keys for sure.
Did you get what you were expecting for the price? How does it compare to similar products in the same price range?
I think its really good for the money. however, if you get one with bad leds its ruins the experience.
