I use them for monitors only and they handle the load no problem. I wouldnt use them on the mains unless you are running wattage's under 500.

theres really no feature other than if you are using 1/4 connectors, do yourself a favor and upgrade to this type of connector

Here's where the home run is....for around 17 bucks you get two NL4 connectors and 25 feet of 16 gauge cable. If you tried to buy two connectors and a piece of cable and make one yourself it would cost you more. Its not tour quality stuff but for 17 bucks what do you want? I recommend tightening up the screws inside the connector when you get them, most of them were loose.
