Quality
Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
During the month I used the stand, I experienced no trouble whatsoever with this sturdy device: It anchored my bass to the ground safely without fail. Dependability? Look up @ "Reliability" to see what the studio folks told me. They had no incentive to lie.
Reliability
How has it stood up over time?
I recorded for a month, and, it being the property of the studio and me being no thief, well...the stand stayed there. So, IDK, but the staff told me that they are as sturdy as stands get and also, the cushioning doesn't deteriorate, nor does the grip.
Overall
Your general opinion of this product.
I used this stand while recording in a local studio. It's like no other & I'll be buying a few! GENERAL: BOY does it secure your axe, and BOY does it baby it. Love your basses/guitars? Order this stand!
Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?

Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?

Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?
I like the black-yellow contrast for aesthetic reasons, yep, but also for practical ones: e.g.: It's harder to knock over a stand with a bright yellow "stop sign" on it. Much harder.
Action
How was the action out of the box?
