I just received my Cloudlifter CL2 and I couldn't be more pleased. Its the perfect boost for my band's two vocalists, providing a perfectly healthy signal and crystal clear sound. Anyone with dynamic mics that are signal vacuums will greatly benefit from this! 5 Stars!

I bought the Cloudlifter more or less unsure if I was really going to need it. The studio I record in is sound proof and acoustically treated, but when I want to make videos at home...I don’t have the same luxury. The Cloudlifter gave me enough headroom that I could cut down on most of the noise without affecting the quality and having a headache of a time in post production. It’s worth every penny!

Currently using with my Shure Super 55 Black Special Edition, in combination with my Shure SM7B running into a Focusrite Scarlett 18i8 inputs 1&2 set to line input with the phantom power activated.. Mind blown!!! Great product, worth the investment!

Your general opinion of this product.
It has made a whole ton of mics exponentially funner to use. The 20-25 db extra boost is enough to re-energize a cheap mic or preamp to the point where it prints brilliantly. It is super transparent too, it is exactly what it was sold as.
Seems like you could throw it off the tallest building you could find and it would only dent the sidewalk. I have just had it for a minute but it is very sturdy in build.
In and out is all there is to know and run your phantom power to the out xlr. Nothing else.
Super simple, as I said it does exactly what it is sold to do.
I have been pulling a bucket of mics out to try, ribbons, dynamics, crystal, it re-energized all of them. It has no sound of its own, it is truly transparent but it gives each mic the boost it needs to not have to overdrive the pres. I am amazed at how much of a difference that few extra dbs make in the chain.
