Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? This capo is well made. Good quality and durability. Reliability How has it stood up over time? My Spider capo works well and is very reliable. Once you get the hang of it, its really useful. Overall Your general opinion of this product. Overall a really good product. There is much you can do with this capo. If i lost this capo, or it broke (very unprobable), I would purchase it again. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? The only negative part of the Spider capo is that it takes a bit of time to set up on the guitar (you need to move over the individual capos), though this doesnt effect its quality and reliability. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Since this is a capo, i cant really say anything for this field. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? The Spider capo is made of strong plastic and metal. It wont break. Action How was the action out of the box? Well, it fits all of my guitars, and ive been able to fit it on a 5 string bass. Measuring it, it looks like you can fit it on any instrument with a neck width of about 1.5 inches(3.8cm) to almost 2.25 inches(5.7cm).
