I have 2, they work really well especially for the money, I bought one over 2 years ago when I didn’t have many lights, it helped fill the gap, now that I have lots of lights I bought another one so I have 2 , I still use them they work great

The derby x is a good product. I use it with a DMX controller and I’ve put together a light show.
Works great, I recommend it and it save times setting up, also compact.

Like the light but not to much on the shapes it produced, they look like dominos if you ser it up to low , better if you have then at around 10 feet high if your going to use it with sound action

The pre programmed sequence is perfect and diverse. The sensitivity of the mic is a little low. Wont capture much noise at low volume. Great light for the price

I bought this light to enhance our live stage show, WOW...was I impressed! The crisp colors and bright lights...... were Awesome!
All I did was set it in Sound activation mode and the light show was spectacular.
Our band GABRIELS CROSSING, will buy 3 more to compliment our live show.
I would recommend any band to purchase this unit.

I got 2 of these dot-pattern fixtures about 3yrs. ago. I'm chimeing in to give ya a long time users perspective on these lights and why I love them.
1. Views-these lights look good from both dancefloor and stage. Most fixtures only show people a flashing colored light when they look Up at them From the dancefloor. The Derbys show a constant moving mesmerizing display. Like "kitt" from knight rider(80's tv show), as a client explained to me. From behind dj booth you see brilliant LED "X" patterns fill back wall horizontally or vertically set (the way I use them)you see patterns on floor, wall, and ceiling.
2. Weight- So lite, plastic all around but lenses are glass feeling.
3. Ease of use- basic dmx, or stand alone.
4. Reliability-You plug them in and they work every time, simple. After 3yrs still like new.
