I love my new "toy"! I'm actually making more money for event lighting with the Chaivet Gobo Zoom USB. I was concerned that it wouldn't be bright enough, but I was wrong! Plenty bright. Making your own gobos is easy and profitable. Its all metal housing is super tough and it's nice and compact. DMX control is fantastic. Hard to believe you can get such a quality piece at this price. Thank you AMS and Chauvet!

This is a really nice gobo light. It is bright enough for most events. I have used it to project over 40 ft with no problem. Love that the image can rotate at adjustable speeds. The only thing is that when ordering metal cut gobos, you need to have them coated in black. If you get them made in that shiny metal, you’ll see a ghost or double image. I think it’s reflecting the image on the lens and doubling the projected image. I had one done in the shiny metal and had to coat it black with a permanent marker, then it was perfect. Just remember when ordering, tell your guys to coat it black. Overall great gobo light. Never fails.

Very bright. I did try to print my own gobo with no success even with having it done at Staples. Works great only with black metal gobos. Those are usually special order $50 and up. Gobos must be black because a regular metal gobo will reflect the light into a double pattern on the wall.

Very happy with the brightness for this model. Very easy to get custom gobo discs made and does a great job at projecting on every surface. Sure you can pay significantly more and get a better projector but this is a great model for the mobile DJ.
