I am a mobile dj and rely on dependable equipment, in the past i never had issues with the 2 and recently purchased a new one, not sure what happened but on the 2nd dj job for a Wedding and it failed to heat . Hasn't been repaired yet, it was a dud for sure, luckily i always have an extra because i rather be ready for bad situations. Anyways not really happy considering they raised the price and the machine didnt work.

I bought this product for a graduation to have smoke for pictures. Its not a bad item for the perfect setting (no fans, low humidity, and about 10 to 15 minutes of smoke. It is an automatic release of smoke once the water is hot enought to push the dry ice out of it. Good for small venues. I would still recommend it because it doea work and does what is says.

The Nimbus is an amazing machine and when used properly will leave your guests in awe! The key for this machine is prep...prep...prep... You must show up to the venue at least an hour and a half early to give your machine enough time to warm up. The machine comes with two power sources for heating... But It is not a logical application for most venues as you can plug them into the same outlet meaning you will have to run an extension cord to another outlet and that may look tacky. So you need to arrive in enough time to use one source to heat the water. It works very well... I do have concerns that the machine will show signs of significant wear after after some uses. The moving parts a a bit suspect and we will have to see how they hold up with repeated use.

The DJ Nimbus Dry Ice machine is very helpful for weddings and other events where you need the cloud effect. I do recommend before being to be aware of the size. The size does not exemplify the true size of the machine. It works well and be sure to have at least 10-15 pounds of dry ice for proper effect.

I upgraded to the Nimbus senior you will not be disappointed the only problem I have is trying to find a better way to carry the dry ice and have it available but that has nothing to do with the quality of this product
